Color Throwdown
A couple of my friends came over a few evenings ago and we stamped & created until we were cross eyed! We had so much fun, helping and encouraging each other along the way! I love my friends and spending time with them is the best. The card I created for this challenge was a CASE from my girlfriend Darlene. She is SO incredibly creative ~ oh to create as she does!
Be sure to read about it and help bless a fellow Stamping Sister who is very sick. Katie Renz lives in Washington state, is a wife and mother of three and was diagnosed just before Christmas with stage 4 gastric cancer. The members of the Throwdown team felt the need to rally around Katie and show her our support. I knew I had to join in and bless Katie. I'm praying for you my dear.
Thanks so much for stopping by today ~ have a wonderful day ~
~ hug those you love ~ and tell them so ~
Blessings to you ~ Denise ~

ReplyDeleteOh my friend - what a surprise when I came to visit your blog today - thank you so much for your kind words. They go right back at you too.
ReplyDeleteYour card is so pretty. I love the punches you used and Baroque Motifs was my second choice for this card (great minds...). I love the pearls and DP. This card and the verse inside will be a great comfort to Katie.
Beautiful! I love all the scallops and I'm sure Katie will too! Thanks for playing along with us in this very special edition of CTD!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the kind and encouraging comments on the JUGS blog about my son's move - it means the world to me that there are people who've been through it and understand and offer up wise words. He moved out once before but was 10 min from home and came home most nights to shower since his room at the house he was at had well water LOL. I went through the same thing when my DD went off to college - we eventually get used to it. BUT thanks. LOVE your card - so beautiful and the pearls are a perfect soft accent.
ReplyDeleteLovely card! I really like all the scalloped edges and the pretty pearls.
