Stampin' Chez Moi

I needed a birthday card for my brother's 50th birthday and I love playing along with challenges which also gives me a starting point! So a hunting we did go!...and here are the two challenges that worked SO well for me ~ thanks so much for the inspiration and a great place to begin! The first challenge I found was the Friday Mashup ~ and their challenge was any past challenge which was great, so here is where I began! Perfect for a Manly birthday card for my brother!!! Now, can I find a color challenge that I like to go along with the idea that was brewing in my mind...and here is what I found at the PPA154  ~  my attempt was to use the Raspberry Ripple and Calypso Coral to give my truck an old rusty feel, I'm pleased with the outcome! Welcome back, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and I'd like to wish you all the best in the New Year! I will be hosting my first class of the year on Monday the 9th and I sure hope I'm feeling better by then. I have been sick for over a month now and I can't seem to shake it! I spoke at a ladies Bible Study and then taught a simple Christmas card on the 22nd of November, by that evening I had  laryngitis and it's been one thing after another since then...the hardest part is... I'm never under the weather. I just don't seem to catch whatever it is that's going around...guess I can't say that anymore! I did still mange to have some play time (albeit not enough)...so in between sniffles, tissue, naps...yikes!!! are you sick of me yet!!!!
