Stampin' Chez Moi

I had so much fun creating in my studio yesterday and was thrilled when my Mother's Day card qualified for three fabulous challenges. I absolutely love the colour challenge 134 over at PPA , you truly need to give this colour challenge a try ~ you'll love it!  After you check this challenge out, pop in at the girls from  Stamping 411  for the SSC 254 sketch challenge and then my card qualified over at the  PP94  challenge to celebrate Mothers. What a fabulous trio of challenges...oh you just have to play along!!! Oh what a fun day...got our home tidied...did some knitting (see my Knitting For Sale page)...and had a wonderful play time in my studio....I guess I have more tidying to do now! But I'm SO excited to share my creation with you ~ but it first started with the challenge at Our Creative Corner ...which was ...   Music can be such a motivating thing in life, why not in your papercrafting too? Take inspiration from a song and work it into any papercraft project you'd like - a card, a gift tag or some other paper craft project. Be inspired by the lyrics or the feeling you get by listening along. Just make sure your post includes the song title (and if possible the artist) that inspired you!   And I knew the exact song...and I found myself singing it the whole time I was creating ~ what a peaceful was to create! I also found two fabulous challenges at the Stamping 411 blog...the sketch 245 is found here ~ and the colour challenge 168  is here ~ I love these challenges... ...

Our garden of vegetables and flowers are singing a symphony of song!!! I was captured by the beauty of my flower garden as I strolled the yard this morning ~ it literally stopped me in my tracks ~ then I heard Dean say 'what are you thinking about honey?' ~ oh, nothing, just gazing at our flowers!!! We both stood there for awhile and just admired the handy work of the Lord! Oh how I wish my picture would do justice to this ~ in real life ~ it is absolutely stunning!! and now on to the sketch challenge from the gals at Stamping 411 ~ and I had so much fun incorporating  a flower into my card. I love creating flowers!!! and a bit of smooch and there you go!  oh what a fun card to create ~ and I did it again ~ I can't remember where I actually saw the tutorial for this flower (take  note  Denise, literally!) ~ I used three different Stampin' Up Flower Punches and it worked out fabulously ~  I sure hope you have time to play along with us this we...
