Happy Birthday Colour Q

Image
Well, you guessed it...another challenge, but then again, I did tell you about this ~ so I saw this challenge on LeAnne's blog on Tuesday, I love visiting her blog, check it out here ! When I saw what the challenge was, I just had to play, so here is the layout & the past ColourQ combo that I chose! I sure hope I did this correctly ~ still a bit new in the blogging world and so I'm just learning as I go....and having a blast with this, if I do say so myself. So here's the card that I created for this challenge and I had so much fun putting this together! Isn't she just adorable ~ love this stamp set! Thanks for stopping by ~ have a wonderful day....the weekend is just around the corner!

Another Sneak Peek

Image
As promised yesterday, I've got another sneak peek for you today ~ this will be another card we create for my 'Christmas in October' stack.     I wish you could see the sparkles on this card ~ it sure didn't 'picture take' the way I had hoped it would ~ I guess you'll just have to come over and see if for yourself. If you live in the Winnipeg area I would love you to join me on Oct 14th or 16th and get a jump on your Christmas Cards for the season. Come by tomorrow and see yet another card that I entered in a challenge. I've never done challenges before until this past week, and I'm hooked! It is so much fun ~ don't forget to stop by tomorrow, or sign up to receive my blog ~ each time I make a change and you'll never miss out! Thanks for stopping by ~ have a wonderful day!

Christmas In October

Image
Good Morning! Well I'm still busy getting ready for my Christmas Stack in October, and I did get more done yesterday ~ but the afternoon sun was beaconing me out ~ so far be it for me to argue about spending time in the garden ~  away I went and got a bit more done outside! While I was out there, I decided to share some of our yard with you ~ thanks for humouring me and taking a peek ~ hope you enjoy it as much as we do! Pictures of my little hobby greenhouse and a very messy flower garden! This is a large two walled feature in the very back of our yard. Dean took an old barn apart and reconstructed it in our yard. Many family photo's are taken back here! I'm sure you noticed throughout these pictures, we have many old barrels, wagons, etc. and now an old tricycle in the front yard ~ as my darling little neighbour Julia asked me one day  "Mrs. Willerton, why do you like....old....broken things?" ~ I'm not sure Julia...I just do! Our greenhouse onc

Good Monday Morning!

Image
What a wonderful weekend of celebrating our daughter & her husbands 30th birthday! It started with baseball and then dinner at their home and an evening of 'a minute to win it' ~ What a blast!!! So now I'm looking at my calendar and yikes!!! I've got two weeks before my first Christmas Stack...and I'm not ready,  actually haven't even started, so I guess the next 10 days or so are focused on first creating the cards and then cutting, cutting, cutting ~ so much fun! Here's just a little sneek peek of a card that we just may do...hmmm...maybe We will see how the next few days unfold and then I'll make a decision...either way, I'll be ready to go. If you're in the Winnipeg area, I would love to have you join us, drop me a line and let me know. All guests need to RSVP, this way I know how many kits I'll be putting together. Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by!

CQC Challenge

Image
My first challenge that I've entered (way out of my comfort zone now!) ~ and I seem to be having a hard time posting it to the site! Not sure what I'm doing wrong, so here's my last go at this ~ hope it works from my blog ~ thanks for stopping by!

Wordbooks

Image
I create these wordbooks (mini scrapbooks) and am able to personalize them with any name/word that is 6 letters or less. The finished project is approximately 5.5 inches tall and 11.5 inches long. I have created personally named wordbooks as well as GRAND~KIDS, DANCE, BABY~BOY, SOCCER, HOCKEY...the possibilities are endless. Please contact me if you are interested or have any further questions!  This is an example of a six page book (max.) ~ our eldest grandson Seth Andrew James! Today is Grandparents day at Seth's school, so I'll be snatching up Isaac and heading into the city to spend the afternoon with our boys! Here's another sneek-peek of our wonderful grandboys! Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day! Yippee!!!! it's Friday!

Love my Grandsons!

Image
Here is a quick little baby card that I created quite awhile ago, the only thing Stampin' Up on this is the cardstock and sentiment. I honestly don't remember if I saw this cased elsewhere ~ sorry! I do have the dimensions, if you're interested, just drop me a line! Thought I'd throw in a couple of pictures of our grandsons ~ they are cousins to each other, Seth belongs to our oldest son, and Isaac to our daughter! We love to camp and when the grandkids join us, it's even better! Seth & Isaac are so much fun to be with ~  I think I see a scrapbook page here! Thanks for stopping by!

My Studio

Image
My wonderful father and I got together to make these slim line shelves for my new punches...I guess I still have room for many more ~ yippee!!!!!!! Picked up some racks from Ikea to house all my punches ~ now they are all sitting at a glance and super handy to grab and go (didn't take the greatest picture of this) Photography is not my strength as you can see ~ hopefully I'll get that figured out a bit better for taking pictures of my creations! Okay ~ here's a better shot of my wall! I've got my stamp sets organized in alphabetical order as well as stamped in a small binder alphabetically   ~ really helps to keep me organized ~ I also have a stamped paper inside each stamp case for quick reference and organization! Another little shelf that my father made for me (didn't take the greatest picture of that either) it houses all my buttons, brads, bling....you know....all the necessities ~ stamp pads, pens and a picture of our grandson peeking over some b
