Stampin' Chez Moi

I needed a new Birthday card pronto, so I got to work this morning, found some challenges that I wanted to join and had a blast playing along! Seize The Birthday (Anything Goes), Freshly Made Sketches and a wonderful color challenge at IN(K)SPIRE me , is where my inspiration was birthed! there is still time to play, so why don't you join in the fun! Here's my birthday card ~ I actually don't own Blackberry Bliss or Lost Lagoon (shocking, I know), so I used rick Razzleberry and Bermuda Bay ~ hope that's okay! I think I went to little too stamp crazy on my Sahara Sand CS, now that it's complete, I'm wishing I would have stamped a little less with my colors ~ I know my brother will love this though! thanks so much for popping by ~ have a wonderful day! I've been having so much fun creating in my new small quarters ~ our second bedroom is working out quite nicely ~ I've gone from an 1800 sq foot studio to a regular size bedroom. It has a sofa bed (grandkids/guests sleepover bed), big screen TV and a lot of my toys nicely stored in the closet!  So it really isn't about how much you have, but how you make the most of what you have :-) I love creating masculine cards...not an easy feat, but this sketch from Try Stampin' On Tuesday was absolutely perfect for my card. although I don't have a sentiment on the face of my card ~ I did create this as a birthday card, so I'm hoping that the lovely gals at Seize The Birthday will accept this an an entry for their current challenge ~ do come and join in the fun with these fabulous challenge blogs Onto my card ~ what do you think? thanks so much for popping by, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask ~ have a wonderful day!...

Just a super quick post here...running out the door right away and forgot to do this yesterday...scatter brain over here ~ anyone else with this symptom :-) I created this card the other day and then into my 'inbox' this popped up yesterday from RetroSketches ~ I couldn't believe  how close the sketch was to my card ~ the sketch has the main image in a circle, but mine was square ~ hope thats okay girls ~ LOVE this....jump in and play along here is the sketch that is mostly like my card... and here is my card ~  Gotta run...thanks for popping by ~ have a great day ~  If you live in Winnipeg or the vicinity and would like to host a party I would love to come and stamp with you and your friends!!
