Stampin' Chez Moi

What a fabulous fall we have had thus far ~ summer weather in October! It is beautiful outside and finding time to stamp is at a premium ~ I love being outside when it's fabulous out ~ but I did take the time to enter my studio in the evenings, so needless to say, this took a couple of evenings to put together and then shot these pictures outside ~ I don't know about you, but stamping is therapy for me ~ I hope you enjoy what I created, I'm super pleased with this card! The gals at SUO Challenge 29 are calling for leaves and then I found a fabulous color challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments #87  . Sure hope you pop in on these two wonderful challenge blogs and play along! I love my new Simply Scored tool and so took advantage of my little markers and scored away. This is just a standard 8 1/2 x 4 1/4 CS, scored at 2 1/8 & 6 7/16...mark your spot and you're good to go....easy peasy!!!! Love it!!! Well I feel like I haven't been in my studio for ages, felt a little lost when I got there, went looking for my Mojo and it's been lost. I can't find it anywhere! I needed help, so went looking for some inspiration on some of my favourite challenges ~ found the colors at  Color Throwdown  #130 and was further challenged, then I found this challenge at  Stamping 411  #192, and then I had to follow the challenge at  SUO Challenges , I've got new toys that I haven't played with very much ~ so out with my Sale-a-bration stamps that I got for FREE ~ yes...FREE...let me know if you have any questions! Here are the colors! And the layout! And the challenge from SUO ~ anything Sale-a-bration! ~ So here's my card using Punch Bunch, what a fun set to have ~ I stamped my scallop twice, once using Tangerine Tango, then Pretty In Pink/Versa Mark and then heat embossed using Clear EP! Love my little rosettes kissed with Dazzling Diamonds! A little side shot, you can see...

When I saw the cQc Challenge #67 , I knew right away what I wanted to do with this ~ my baby card stash is VERY low...and then the following morning I noticed the SUO Challenge was for a Baby Card! Two challenges in one ~ I had so much fun doing this...with a few challenges along the way! I really seem to struggle with colors that are chosen for me...so this is a good thing, gets me out of my box and comfort zone ~ I didn't have any Kiwi Kiss in my studio and then forgot all about Melon Mambo! So I substituted Certainly Celery for the Kiwi and then added the Twine to my buttons which is the closest embellishment that I had to Melon Mambo! Okay, so now I'm exhausted....so here's my Baby Buggy Card I then used Crystal Effects on the Baby Buggy dots & heart (I'm loving CE, just adds texture and 'color pop' to whatever it kisses) ~ so then I came to the interior of the card and when I stamped.....oh....I made a mess, I didn't come down properly and so m...
