Stampin' Chez Moi

Hello friends and I want to wish you a Blessed Happy New Year!!!  A year filled with love, hope and peace!!! And I want to welcome you here, to the first Technique Tuesday of the year.  The call for this Technique is using the Brayer!  Oh boy, I haven't used my Brayer in years...so here we go!! Did you see this new Embossing Folder?  It's from the new Adoring Hearts Bundle and wow!!! what a Bundle this is, we have the Stamp Set, Embossing Hybrid Folder, and the Dies, that work with the Embossing Folder.  So whenever you have an Embossing Folder, that is Hybrid, well, that means you Die Cut and Emboss at the same time...Easy Peasy and AMAZING!!! So what I did was, with my Blackberry Bliss Stamp Pad, I inked Brayered the inside of the Embossing Folder, then carefully laid the Die into the Embossing Folder, placed a 6" x 6" piece of Basic White CS, into the folder!  Ran that through my Cut & Emboss Machine and voilà Stampin Dimensionals behind these sweet ...

Hello friends,  I'm excited to join in the Blog Hop Fun from Technique Tuesday and the challenge is Two Step Stamping.... and I Love this color challenge from CTD#771, I chose, Petal Pink,  Old Olive & Lost Lagoon and I found this GREAT sketch from TSOT#635 ~  well, let's get to some playing!!! I started by applying some Old Olive using my Blending Brush after I embossed my Basic White Panel using the Fern 3D Embossing Folder. I die cut one of the dies from Countryside Corner Dies ~ stamped it with COMING SOON .. Lovely & Sweet stamp, and then gently blended it with Old Olive, applied Dimensionals ...  ... did some Two Step Stamping using the Two Tone Flora and then Die Cut my flowers ~ Dimensionals behind my Bouquet and there you go!  a sweet sympathy card!!! I love the challenge from the Technique Tuesday Blog Hop ~ we are to do Dry Embossing, so you know what that means...let's get some of our favorite Embossing folders out and let's get to some playing!!! I found  this great sketch from the Inspired By challenge   , which is a perfect starting place for my creation as I followed the sketch! And then this wonderful Inspiration challenge from HandStampedSentiments#426 so with the fall and pumpkin inspiration, I got to playing in my studio!!! It is SO hard to tell, but I embossed almost every element using the Time Worn Embossing Folder.  It actually looks really neat in person!  Hard to tell on the photo, unless you zoomed in, you may see, the Basic Black, Copper Panel, Pumpkins, & Boughs from the punch have ALL been embossed!
