Stampin' Chez Moi

I've been having so much fun creating in my new small quarters ~ our second bedroom is working out quite nicely ~ I've gone from an 1800 sq foot studio to a regular size bedroom. It has a sofa bed (grandkids/guests sleepover bed), big screen TV and a lot of my toys nicely stored in the closet!  So it really isn't about how much you have, but how you make the most of what you have :-) I love creating masculine cards...not an easy feat, but this sketch from Try Stampin' On Tuesday was absolutely perfect for my card. although I don't have a sentiment on the face of my card ~ I did create this as a birthday card, so I'm hoping that the lovely gals at Seize The Birthday will accept this an an entry for their current challenge ~ do come and join in the fun with these fabulous challenge blogs Onto my card ~ what do you think? thanks so much for popping by, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask ~ have a wonderful day!...

I have a friend who wants to have a friend gathering, featuring a mini album...and so I went on a Pinterest hunt, and I found the sweetest little album on YouTube using File Folders! I can't wait to teach this class ~ here's a peek at what I created...now to cut my kits!!! This is the cover, I used a long time retired button for my closure and some hemp twine! The two pieces that are sticking out are little slide outs for pictures  and the back side has lines for journaling and another page there are twelve pages in all and 6 slide outs I used a sponge and Chocolate Chip to give the edges a vintage look and then I stamped using Crumb Cake and various stamps to give the pages some dimension and vintage look as well ~ I'm really pleased with the outcome, hope the girls feel the same way!
