Another MDS Book On The Go!

Image
Good day to you ~ hope you're having a wonderful day...we've been camping at our favourite place for this past week and I've been enjoying the relaxing time and quiet evenings getting another page together! I really enjoy the challenges at MDS Monday , thanks girls for the sweet constant nudge to get another page done. Today is page one for our second grandson...I've got 12 pages done in Seth's book and so I thought it would be great to get a jump start into Isaac's book! So here is the sketch that was brought to us by the very talented Heidi! Stop by and have a peek at the DT's pages....stunning!!! Isaac is now four years old...so I won't have to dig as deeply to find some pictures to play with! So today...a baby boy is born and has blessed us with his presence! If you live in Winnipeg or the vicinity and would like to host a party I would love to come and stamp with you and your friends!! Or, if space is an issue, come

I am lovin' playing around in MDS! I used to scrapbook ALL the time ~ creating cards wasn't ever a real interest for me...now I'm addicted to ALL of it! The challenges and helps at MDS Monday are wonderful and this sketch was perfect for another page in Seth's book. Thanks SO much girls, you are helping me keep this going! So here's the sketch and I also doubled this up with the next challenge ~ which was to do some embossing! What....on MDS.....are you kidding.....NOPE!!!! Give it a whirl! MDS Monday# 17 & #18 What a fabulous sketch & challenge...to take a shape and then add your text to it... fabulous! How in the world would I ever know that you could do that....again...Thanks for all your fabulous tips, tricks and tutorials! Our grandsons (Little Isaac shown above...now 4 years old) and his younger brother Austin were ring bearers for their aunty this past weekend...I can't wait to start their Scrapbook...here's a sneak peek

So much has happened in five days...On Monday morning we moved my MIL into a personal care home ~ we moved my FIL in, a week and a half before her...I have been packing and unpacking way to much lately... now a box delivered by a person in brown is totally different ~ Thanks UPS! After I got home in the early afternoon...I got busy creating these banners as a little thank you gift for my girls ~ I only posted these two pictures as the other pictures didn't turn out very good! I finished creating at 5pm and my girls started coming over about 15 minutes later...we shared dinner together and drooled over the new catalogue ~ thanks ladies for your support throughout the year! Then on Tuesday I packed for myself...knitting projects, carding supplies (oh what to pack...so I packed almost everything...just in case we needed it), toiletries and a change of clothes....this is where I went with my girlfriend ~ our annual personal retreat at her cottage!  And

Our Little Lucas was being Dedicated today at church! Grand babies are such a blessing from the Lord. The sketch I found at Freshly Made was perfect for my card. And my card also went along with the challenge at Paper Players ...although I wasn't creating an actually Summer Holidays card, this card definetely depicts what we love to do as a family ..... camping and beaching! I really didn't have anything that is actually for a Sunday Dedication Service, but a little boy playing in the sand is totally what my little guys love to do, and I really don't think Lucas will be any different when he gets a little older, so this was actually perfect for my card for him As you can see, I flipped the card sketch and opted for my embossing folder to show the long vertical focal point of the sketch. I'm really pleased with my card...but IRL....it looks So much nicer! Now if we could just get some nice hot June weather that we're all used to ha
