How much fun to create a birthday card for Isaac ~ I can't believe our little man will be six next week ~ This is Isaac on the roof top of the condo that we are currently living in ~ the view in the background  is the beautiful French Quarters and The Forks Market in our city ~ we love our new neighbourhood and have embraced our new life style ~ our new condo is down the road about four blocks closer to this beautiful view! Here we are with our seven grandchildren...wow!!! So much love to share with these wonderful children ~ Six boys ~ One girl I followed this wonderful sketch from Freshly Made Sketches #170 and since this is a birthday card, it also works with the challenge from Seize The Birthday ~ join in the fun...there is still time to play Isaac loves the Mixels ...a silly fun toy made by Lego..and so, you may not understand this card, but Isaac will be head over heels with his card...and...his gifts....shhhh!!!! It's more like Bird Under the Wire....I started this card yesterday morning, had to put it away to get ready for a class last night ~ I had three card makers, one scrapbooker and two knitters!!! And YES, two more gals knitting, they hadn't ever held a pair of knitting needles before, so right to the beginning...and they got it! Yipee for them ...anyway.....back to my story! So then when I got up this morning (knowing that I only had until 11am) ~ got up, got myself together, headed into the city to take our grandson Seth to school, stopped at the Meat Market, picked up what I needed for dinner tonight, zipped home, ran downstairs, finished my card, grabbed my laptop and here I am....thanks so much for joining me....are you throughly exhausted yet!!! SO much fun...I actually really like this card, I wasn't sure at first, but now that it's together, I'm pleased! What a wonderful week before Christmas that we have had here at home! All of the family together, chatting about our up and coming trip, early Christmas with my parents...all the while working on a birthday card for our son...so here is the challenge from Stamping 411 Saturday Sketch Challenge 182 As soon as I saw this, I knew I would created his card with this in mind ~ and then ~ I saw the color challenge from Stacey's Stamping Stage   and the  Curtain Call Color Challenge: {ACT 61} So here is my card for our son's 29th birthday I was having real issues with saving my cropped picture, not sure why I was unable to import my edited version, so sorry for the 'bad' picture....and now this morning it worked, so I actually changed my original snap of this card!
