Stampin' Chez Moi

What a fun day of creating for me ~ I guess this really has become something to sing about...figuring out my creating without a studio in our new Condo ~ LOVE IT!!!  This forces me to stay organized and tidy as I go...quite a feat for this gal!!! Here's a view of the sunset the other evening ~ and of course the pictures jus don't do it justice AT ALL!!!  Painted by the very Hand of God! I had so much fun creating last night with some friends ~ it's all about sharing for me ~ I love to share my toys and watch as my friends enjoy themselves in my little studio! The Mojo Monday sketch grabbed me the second I saw it and knew this was my starting point The next thing that was really on my mind was my HUGE stash of DP... I so seldom grab that and was determined that is was NOT going to intimidate me any longer.... so here goes! I really like the my finished card, although it really didn't photograph very well. I really dislike having to create a sympathy card when I need one and my stash is very low, so much was accomplished today!  Thanks so much for stopping by ~ I hope you have a blessed day! Our very dear friends father passed away on the weekend and I needed a sympathy card for them. This was so hard to create for our friends, but I do know that they are covered in prayers and finding comfort in God's wonderful presence during this difficult time. I really do need to create several sympathy cards so that they are on hand when they are needed ~ creating a card when it's needed is just too difficult for me.  I followed a sketch that I found on Stampin' Addicts Here is my card that I created ~ I did enjoy playing with my new toys....just really hard when you know who will be receiving it ~ I forgot to take my photo during the sunny portion of the day ~ and so please overlook the terrible shots that I've posted! I'd like to end on a brighter note ~ so here are a few shots that we took on our weekend away with our son's beautiful family! Well girls, it's been fun being a part of the Stamping 411 team for the month of July ~ thank you once again for the honor! Now onto this fabulous sketch....you really need to join in the fun! What a fun card sketch to create with ~ I've enjoyed my time so much playing along with this ~ do join in the fun! Here is my card ~ I really don't enjoy creating sympathy cards when they are needed. I find it too difficult, so I always like to have some on hand ~ now I actually don't have any except for this new one that I created to go along with this sketch. I really need to create a few more ~ I guess that just doesn't sound so great ~ I need to take a photography class ~ sorry about the shots! BAD!!!!!
