Stampin' Chez Moi

I found a new challenge over at Joan's Garden ...what a great start for my mother's day cards...and yes, I've cut this one pretty close...came home from a fabulous dinner with our kids and grandsons and got my two cards completed for today! They are very similar...is that cheating for Mother's Day? So here's my Mother's Day cards ~ My vellum flower was inked up with Real Red and my faithful sponge...I love sponging! Cut my border using my Martha Steward border punch and then flipped it to create the same effect on the other side of my black CS. Boho Blossom Punch was used for the inside of my flower (oh I love the punch) ~ my fancy flourish was purchased at Joan's Garden ! I then embossed my card front using  Lacy Brocade and stamped my sentiment with Well Scripted! What a wonderful evening I've had ~ we seem to be running lately and then this fabulously quiet evening was ushered into my presence ~ oh, what to do??? so I ran downstairs into my studio and played! First I hunted for the challenges that I wanted to join, found those and then grabbed my two new dies from MFT that I ordered at Joan's Garden ! Oh what a beautiful evening ~ music playing and just a relaxing time of creativity....and I found myself thinking....this is what it feels like, and oh how I'm loving my time! So here are the two challenges ~ Mojo Monday and I went with the square version!  and then grabbed the colours from The Play Date Cafe ! and then grabbed the colours from The Play Date Cafe! Tangerine  . . .  Apricot  . . .  Mint So out came Tangerine Tango, Apricot Appeal & Green Galore...these colours were the closest that I could find to go along with this! And my card!!!
