Happy Mother's Day!
I found a new challenge over at Joan's Garden...what a great start for my mother's day cards...and yes, I've cut this one pretty close...came home from a fabulous dinner with our kids and grandsons and got my two cards completed for today! They are very similar...is that cheating for Mother's Day?
So here's my Mother's Day cards ~
My vellum flower was inked up with Real Red and my faithful sponge...I love sponging!
Cut my border using my Martha Steward border punch and then flipped it to create the same effect on the other side of my black CS. Boho Blossom Punch was used for the inside of my flower (oh I love the punch) ~ my fancy flourish was purchased at Joan's Garden! I then embossed my card front using
Lacy Brocade and stamped my sentiment with Well Scripted! That covers all the requirements for this challenge ~ I really enjoyed creating these cards ~ thanks for the challenge!
If you live in Winnipeg or the vicinity and would like to host a party I would love to come and stamp with you and your friends!! Or, if space is an issue, come here and create with me at one of my many clubs or classes! Drop me a line for further info!
I'd love to meet you! Enjoy your day!
Please pop in on http://www.chezmoicreations2.blogspot.com ...you'll find a link to some knitting that I've created. Drop me a line if you have any questions!
Denise, your card is beautiful. I love the colors and your vellum flower is so pretty.

It's been so long since I've been able to participate in Joan's challenges:( I really enjoyed when I was doing them.
ReplyDeleteYour cards are both so pretty. Beautiful vellum flowers and don't you just love that flourish?
