Austin is four...are you kidding!!!! Where did that time go...Austin is such a sweet boy ~ I can always count on a hug from him. When there is a family gathering, he will without fail, come and sit on my lap for a few minutes...oh Austin, don't ever stop doing that ~ you make me smile :-) xo Dean and I bought Austin some Jake the Pirate toys for his birthday and so I knew what I needed for his birthday card. With the loss of my dad during this time of celebrating Austin, I needed to do a CASE for his card...I really enjoyed putting this together...and I'm so sorry...I have no idea where I found this idea ~ so here is Austin's birthday day ~ and he was thrilled with his gift and his card too! There are no words to describe the love I have for my father and the depth of my heart ache. Oh how I miss you Papa! The tears are never ending and I catch myself waiting to hear his voice and yet... knowing that my ears will not hear him call me ~ I never realized how deeply I would hurt in saying good bye to this beautiful man. And now, with tears streaming down my face, I try to get back to my new normal without my dad in my daily life. Dad was always so interested in what I was up to ~ whether is was another card for someone, or a knitting project that I was in the middle of, or sharing time with our children and grandchildren ~ Dad was apart of it all ~ and I hurt!!! On October 5, 2014 as I sat alone with my dad in the hospital, my hand resting on his face...I read this out loud to him... It's been SO long since I've posted and created...the past four months have been crazy to say the least and the whirl wind continues...here is a quick synoptic of the last few months ~ May 2014 ~ We listed our much beloved home of 22 years and within 36 hours it was sold to a wonderful young family. We know they will love living there and raising their beautiful 3 girls as much as we have loved doing life and raising our children in the country! June 2014 ~ Packed and Purged our 3600 sq. foot home, what a daunting task, I never realized how much of a hoarder I was, very organized and tidy, but still a hoarder!!! Yikes!!! July 2014 ~ Packed more as we were coming closer to our exit date, sold most of our furniture...and now the house was really getting empty and beginning to echo ~ what an emotional time this was for me ~ I knew it was time to usher in a new season for Dean & I, but we loved doing life with our family & friends at 414 Leah! It's been WAY too long...and there is SO much to share...so I will try not to bore you to tears...hang in there my friends. The packing is ever on going and seems to never end ~ I'm trying to not pack it all as we still need to live in our home for a few more months (4-6...depending on possession dated) We will be listing our much beloved home in April or so ~ this way we can also showcase our beautiful park like yard ~ pool, garden, flowers, pond etc..... The few times that I have created, it has been by digging through boxes and boxes and eventually finding what I need ~ not to fun, but the best that I can do! the MOST exciting news is the birth of our seventh grandchild ~ God has blessed us with another grandson, Oliver Isaiah was born on January 11 ~ mommy and baby are doing great! Do you ever live in the 'toooooo much' of your life!  Well, that's were we've been living for almost two years now! Where do I even begin...I'm thinking point form might be the best option! ... I'm so sorry, bear with me as I unload...and it's all good....just sooooo much!!!! Moved Dean's parents four times in the past two years...7 months of that was taking dad to the hospital to see mom each day ~ they are now together in a wonderful personal care home. Dean went for a complete shoulder replacement surgery due to unbearable pain caused by arthritis in his right shoulder ~ the left will be replace next year sometime! Moved Marc and Chars to their new location in North Vancouver!! Beautiful location!!! Little Lucas was born in February ~ grand baby # 5 ~ oh where has that time gone!!! Do I look excited for my first day of Nursery School....oh my...where did those four years go? Love this boy so much...and yes, he absolutely loves his teachers, classmates and his 'Isaac time'!   I am so excited to teach this class to my girls ~ got out my Big Shot, my Bigz Rosette Die, some great DSP from Stampin Up of course and got to work...well, I should say play!!! So much fun....and my daughters want to create this too!!! WooHoo!!!
