Stampin' Chez Moi

What a mix of emotions this Christmas ~ Marc, Chars & Oliver flew in on Christmas Day and we shared the richest, jam pack, super fun family times together and yet my heart ached for my mother...it was SO hard to celebrate Christmas without my dad ~ this roller coaster ride is so hard to travel! I am constantly reminded of the Words spoken in  John 16:33  ‘I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.’ and in Matthew 28:20, we are reminded ...  I Am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.  I do take comfort in these words ~ God is So Good! So here is just a little snap of our time together...I really enjoyed playing on MDS once again...between our big move and then hospital visits....I haven't  played in about 6 months ~ what great fun I had ~ thanks ladies for the MDSM95 challenge, this was great therapy for me today ~ there is still time to play along

Austin is four...are you kidding!!!! Where did that time go...Austin is such a sweet boy ~ I can always count on a hug from him. When there is a family gathering, he will without fail, come and sit on my lap for a few minutes...oh Austin, don't ever stop doing that ~ you make me smile :-) xo Dean and I bought Austin some Jake the Pirate toys for his birthday and so I knew what I needed for his birthday card. With the loss of my dad during this time of celebrating Austin, I needed to do a CASE for his card...I really enjoyed putting this together...and I'm so sorry...I have no idea where I found this idea ~ so here is Austin's birthday day ~ and he was thrilled with his gift and his card too! There are no words to describe the love I have for my father and the depth of my heart ache. Oh how I miss you Papa! The tears are never ending and I catch myself waiting to hear his voice and yet... knowing that my ears will not hear him call me ~ I never realized how deeply I would hurt in saying good bye to this beautiful man. And now, with tears streaming down my face, I try to get back to my new normal without my dad in my daily life. Dad was always so interested in what I was up to ~ whether is was another card for someone, or a knitting project that I was in the middle of, or sharing time with our children and grandchildren ~ Dad was apart of it all ~ and I hurt!!! On October 5, 2014 as I sat alone with my dad in the hospital, my hand resting on his face...I read this out loud to him... Isaiah 40:28-31 Do you not know?   Have you not heard?   The   Lord   is the everlasting   God,  the Creator   of the ends of the earth.   He will not grow tired or weary,

It's been SO long since I've posted and created...the past four months have been crazy to say the least and the whirl wind continues...here is a quick synoptic of the last few months ~ May 2014 ~ We listed our much beloved home of 22 years and within 36 hours it was sold to a wonderful young family. We know they will love living there and raising their beautiful 3 girls as much as we have loved doing life and raising our children in the country! June 2014 ~ Packed and Purged our 3600 sq. foot home, what a daunting task, I never realized how much of a hoarder I was, very organized and tidy, but still a hoarder!!! Yikes!!! July 2014 ~ Packed more as we were coming closer to our exit date, sold most of our furniture...and now the house was really getting empty and beginning to echo ~ what an emotional time this was for me ~ I knew it was time to usher in a new season for Dean & I, but we loved doing life with our family & friends at 414 Leah! It's been WAY too long...and there is SO much to share...so I will try not to bore you to tears...hang in there my friends. The packing is ever on going and seems to never end ~ I'm trying to not pack it all as we still need to live in our home for a few more months (4-6...depending on possession dated) We will be listing our much beloved home in April or so ~ this way we can also showcase our beautiful park like yard ~ pool, garden, flowers, pond etc.....
