After my breast cancer scare last year ~ Dean & I did a crazy thing ~ we purchased a waterfront LakeHouse and we're having a blast making it our own!   We moved off our aceage about 7 years ago and I haven't gardened since then...but now we'll have a vegetable garden once again ~ woohoo!!! thanks to my sister who came out last weekend and helped me clear out a perfect spot for our garden  ~ the posts are in, the wire had been purchased and that will be what Dean want's to tackle this coming weekend  ~ here's a peek at what we have so far ~ vegetable garden, here we come!!! I found this card on a Facebook Live done created by Sara Douglas' daughter, thanks for sharing girls ~ Such a fun card to create and what a beautiful way to use that much loved DSP!!! and you get to see both sides as you go ~ so jump into your studio and let's give this a try! you can find my YouTube HERE ~ and while you're there, please subscribe to my channel these are you score lines ~ begins by creating a star on you 8 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of cardstock ~ be sure that you burnish each score line well now score half way between the centre score line and edge of your cardstock ~ do that on each side ~ now go from top centre score lines to the next centre score line ~ and you're done!!! I pray that this finds you well, safe and peaceful ~ during this time of isolation and social distancing, it's easy to feel alone and anxious ~ I do pray that you are strong, brave and taking one day at a time ~  Matthew 6:26 reads as so ~  Look at the birds of the  air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and  yet  your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they? ~ I hope that you find comfort in these words ~ Be at Peace ~  Did you create your April Paper Pumpkin yet? I'm now two for two ~ two months in a row and both times I did my own thing!  It was SO much fun....why didn't I work on my Paper Pumpkin sooner...game changer for me... I'm on this now!!! Dean & I packed up some food and got ready to head off to the LakeHouse for the weekend ~ just before we left, Dean came in the house with the mail ~ oh my goodness...what a beautiful way to start  my weekend ~ I got some sunshine in the mail ~ take a look at this fabulous card that my friend Shel gifted me with ~ thanks SO much Shel, I LOVE this card and absolutely NEED to recreate it!!! It looks like it shaping up to be a beautiful day at the LakeHouse ~ I'm not sure if you can tell that the ice has begun to melt, I wouldn't be walking on that anymore!!!  In fact, when we went for a walk yesterday, with rubber boots of course...well, Dean did go through the ice, but it was only half way up his boot!  So much for our last walk on the ice ~ so to the beach we went!!! Card Base ~ Whisper White ~ 8 1/2” x 5 1/2” ~ score at 4 1/4”  Mint Macaron Panel ~ 4” x 1 5/8” ~ cut 3 Gold Foil ~ 4” x 3” Ornate Garden DSP Panels ~ 3 7/8” x 1 1/2” ~ cut 3 Instructions Adhere the Ornate Garden DSP Panels to the Mint Macaron Panels ~ adhere to card base using Tombow or Dimensionals, whatever your personal preference is!
