It's been awhile since I've followed a sketch and I realize how much I enjoy these challenges!!!
So, note to self...find more sketch challenges and get playing!!! 
I found this great sketch over at the Sketch Saturday #680 challenge!!! 


Now, the embossing folder that I used is one that I've had in my stash for probably 15 years, before my Stampin' Up days...and there are a few items that I just can't part with....this EF is one of them! 



Just a sweet and simple birthday card ~ My card is shimmered up with the retired (insert tears) Champagne Mist mixed in the Stampin' Spritzer with Rubbing Alcohol ~ this is ALWAYS my go to when I want some shimmer on my card ~ how is wish you could see the sparkle on this card ~ it looks way nicer in real life ~

Hello friends and I want to wish you a Blessed Happy New Year!!!  A year filled with love, hope and peace!!! And I want to welcome you here, to the first Technique Tuesday of the year.  The call for this Technique is using the Brayer!  Oh boy, I haven't used my Brayer in years...so here we go!! Did you see this new Embossing Folder?  It's from the new Adoring Hearts Bundle and wow!!! what a Bundle this is, we have the Stamp Set, Embossing Hybrid Folder, and the Dies, that work with the Embossing Folder.  So whenever you have an Embossing Folder, that is Hybrid, well, that means you Die Cut and Emboss at the same time...Easy Peasy and AMAZING!!! So what I did was, with my Blackberry Bliss Stamp Pad, I inked Brayered the inside of the Embossing Folder, then carefully laid the Die into the Embossing Folder, placed a 6" x 6" piece of Basic White CS, into the folder!  Ran that through my Cut & Emboss Machine and voilà Stampin Dimensionals behind these sweet hearts and

I just love this new Stippled Roses Bundle!!!  I grabbed by Bubble Bath & Lost Lagoon Stampin' Blends and got to some coloring, which I do LOVE to do!! I ran that through my Cut & Emboss Machine once my Blending was complete, placed Dimensionals behind, out with the Simply Elegance Trim, which is fact just that!!!  I love this Trim...it is a must have in your studio!
