Stampin' Chez Moi

What a great color challenge from HandStamped Sentiments #375 ~ and now here's the crazy thing, I had a card that I had created using a OneSheetWonder DSP that I had created and brought it all to the LakeHouse to create more...but when we came home after the weekend ~ I forgot to repack that ~ NOOOOOOO ~ my cards for this challenge are not with me!!!  So, back to the studio I go and what great fun I had ~ so now I have ANOTHER card that I created for this same challenge ~ maybe I'll add it after the fact ... but in the mean time ..... Here we go!!!  I love using the Blending Brushes and I wanted to create a sky scene using these great colors!  thank you for this wonderful challenge!!! I was inspired by Ruth Trice for the sky scene! I used the retired Champagne Mist/Rubbing Alcohol mixture and spritzed the entire card panel once my blending was complete ~ Oh My ~ does this card ever look stunning in real life ~ it just shimmers!!! this card is also my featured card for my FaceB

I did a bit of heat embossing on my Basic White panel after I used my Blending Brush on that to help tone down the starkness and pull the Shaded Spruce color into the panel! Oh I haven't played with with Seize The Birthday is SOOOO long ~ I'm so happy to be here!!! What a great day of creativity ~ I needed two birthday cards for two of our grandkiddos!!!  Katie and Owen are brother & sister and exactly 2 years apart!!! It is birthday celebration this weekend!! Katie is EVERYTHING girly and yet, she can keep up to her two brothers and her six  boys cousins ~ yup!!! we've been blessed with nine grandkiddos, 8 boys, 1 girl and now for Owen's card ~ the embellishments that I fussy cut represent EVERYTHING about this great young man ~ he is into everything outdoors!!!
