Hello and welcome to my blog ~ I can't believe it's August and we're going to have a bit of Christmas join us today ~ Let's begin with this fantastic sketch that I found at Paper Craft Crew #438 ~ I've been wanting to create a card using the 'Curtain' technique and I must say, this is SO fun to create and a GREAT way to use our much loved DSP, after all, it's so much nicer on a card than sitting in your stash!

I did create my first card with the diagonal as per the sketch and then created another card with the 'curtain' square to the card base rather than on the diagonal!

Did you notice the Black Glimmer paper behind the sentiment!  I was at the LakeHouse when I created this card, so I often have to work with what I have ~ the ribbon is non SU, and the embellishments are the retired Wonderful Gems
