The Calm Before the Storm!!!

Here is a sweet card that I'll be creating with some wonderful friends tomorrow morning ~ this is one card that is part of my Christmas Stack ~ you'll have to come back later and have a peek at card #2, 3 and 4 ~ I LOVE snowmen, and you have NO idea how hard it was to not order the current one from the Holiday Catalogue ~ the sweet Snowman Season and with a Top Hat....are you kidding!!!!! But alas, I still have the Spirited Snowman (retired) and I couldn't bring myself to purchase another, because I'm trying SO hard to behave!!!!  


This is what my Studio currently looks like, and yes, it is the calm before the storm, but a Perfect Storm I might add!!!

Technique Tuesday, Adoring Hearts ~ #denisewillerton #stampinchezmoi #stampinupcanada

Hello friends and I want to wish you a Blessed Happy New Year!!!  A year filled with love, hope and peace!!! And I want to welcome you here, to the first Technique Tuesday of the year.  The call for this Technique is using the Brayer!  Oh boy, I haven't used my Brayer in years...so here we go!! Did you see this new Embossing Folder?  It's from the new Adoring Hearts Bundle and wow!!! what a Bundle this is, we have the Stamp Set, Embossing Hybrid Folder, and the Dies, that work with the Embossing Folder.  So whenever you have an Embossing Folder, that is Hybrid, well, that means you Die Cut and Emboss at the same time...Easy Peasy and AMAZING!!! So what I did was, with my Blackberry Bliss Stamp Pad, I inked Brayered the inside of the Embossing Folder, then carefully laid the Die into the Embossing Folder, placed a 6" x 6" piece of Basic White CS, into the folder!  Ran that through my Cut & Emboss Machine and voilà Stampin Dimensionals behind these sweet hearts and
