Thanks!!! Dropped in on Connie & Mary and found a great color challenge and then popped in at Seize the Birthday and joined them again...thanks girls for these great challenges! I am loving the new Lotus Blossom stamp set from the Sale-A-Bration catalogue, oh and I love the that honeycomb from the Butterfly Basics stamp set too...and Sequins...and Gorgeous Grunge...these are MUST haves in my creative corner!!! ARRRHHH....Two Pirate cards back to back...how fun is that? This little monkey is having a birthday in a couple of weeks and he is also into Jake the Pirate, so of course we have to buy him a Jake the Pirate Ship (shhhh) and I needed a card to go along with the theme of the party ~ can't wait for Lucas to get his gift and matching card!  Happy 2nd birthday      sweet one ~ xoxo How fun to find two amazing challenges to go along with my card ~ this sketch at  Freshly Made Sketch # 171  was perfect for my card, I took my three banners and gave them a bit of a slant and then topped it off with this fun Happy Birthday Banner, I then fussy cut this and sponged the edges! and then the  Seize The Birthday  birthday was "Anything Goes"...bonus!  Thanks for these wonderful challenges...and there is still time to play, so why don't you jump in and join the fun :-) Here is Lucas' birthday card, the texture on the Basic Black CS is a l...

Here we are with our seven grandchildren...wow!!! So much love to share with these wonderful children ~ Six boys ~ One girl I followed this wonderful sketch from Freshly Made Sketches #170 and since this is a birthday card, it also works with the challenge from Seize The Birthday ~ join in the fun...there is still time to play Isaac loves the Mixels ...a silly fun toy made by Lego..and so, you may not understand this card, but Isaac will be head over heels with his card...and...his gifts....shhhh!!!! Well I'm slowly getting into the hang of stampin' in a tiny area...and I mean tiny...we moved from our home of 23 years just this past summer ~ my studio was 1800 sq feet, as I claimed the entire basement and it was wonderful ~ now our entire space that we're in is 960 sq feet! We've purchased a 1400 sq foot condo, but it won't be ready until March (my hope)...Dean figures May...I'll stick with my hope for now! When I saw the challenge at Color Throwdown I knew exactly what I wanted to do with this fabulous challenge ~ and there is still time to play, so jump on in and join in the fun The Chalk Board Technique is SO much fun...I find it SO hard to create a one layer card well, I sure think it's difficult...., but the Chalk Board Technique satisfied the one layered card for me ~   I'll be creating more of these, stay posted as I'll be posting a few more Chalk Boards ~ but in the mean time...Here is my first ever try at the Cha...
