CQC & Inkspirations Challenge

Well I got a parcel in the mail yesterday from Lil' Inker, it was my sentiment flag ~ thanks, Laura! and I just wanted to play so badly ~ I had to use my new toy! Well I found the layout that I wanted to use from Inkspirations #55, isn't this a great layout!


but just couldn't get my colors together, until I woke up this morning and found what I needed on CQC #70, thanks so much girls!


I wanted to create a valentine's card for my amazing husband and I knew these colors were exactly what I wanted in order to put this together for him...


Don't you just love my new 'flag' die cut ~ it is just perfect!


It was so fun to pull out this darling little girl from Greeting Card Kids (love that stamp set) her words of love are exactly how I feel....
i just love you!

    Well, this is just as cute as can be! And I love the little sentiment you put inside.....I don't even remember SEEING that, I must find it!!! Awesome job with the CQC colors! He'll love it! Great way to use Laura's die, too!

    Hi friend, I was wondering how you did that sentiment banner. I should get that. This card is wonderful. Even better IRL. You did a fabulous job on this and D is going to love it. I love the quilted look and all the texture you added with the embossing folders and scallops. Not sure how I didn't know about that large scallop square til now. Of course you know I love all the hearts and the adorable little girl on the inside. The "I just love you" is so sweet. When can we have another daytime "play date"???

Hello friends and I want to wish you a Blessed Happy New Year!!!  A year filled with love, hope and peace!!! And I want to welcome you here, to the first Technique Tuesday of the year.  The call for this Technique is using the Brayer!  Oh boy, I haven't used my Brayer in years...so here we go!! Did you see this new Embossing Folder?  It's from the new Adoring Hearts Bundle and wow!!! what a Bundle this is, we have the Stamp Set, Embossing Hybrid Folder, and the Dies, that work with the Embossing Folder.  So whenever you have an Embossing Folder, that is Hybrid, well, that means you Die Cut and Emboss at the same time...Easy Peasy and AMAZING!!! So what I did was, with my Blackberry Bliss Stamp Pad, I inked Brayered the inside of the Embossing Folder, then carefully laid the Die into the Embossing Folder, placed a 6" x 6" piece of Basic White CS, into the folder!  Ran that through my Cut & Emboss Machine and voilà Stampin Dimensionals behind these sweet hearts and
