Today is not about a card ~ it is about an ask ~ I'd like to share with you what I shared with my amazing gals that come to class and we get to create together, my girls are the best and I love each and every one of them ~ so here is what I shared with them in early March  ~ " girls, before we get started tonight I'd like to share something with you all...I've been diagnosed with breast cancer (gasp!!!!) girls, wait!!! I'm doing great, I'm strong in body mind and soul and I plan on remaining that way! I found this great sketch at Freshly Made Sketch  and loosely followed it creating this Masculine Card. My card began as a challenge to myself to work with my Aqua Painter. I love this Painter, but I just can't seem to paint as nicely as I'd like .... so it began looking like this.... I used water-colour paper, Aqua Painter and Blender Pen ~ it was okay, but I don't LOVE IT!!!! so then I knew I wanted to create the same thing, but using a different technique ~   for the above picture, I ran it through the Big Shot with the EF and then coloured in the images with just the Blender Pen and LOVE IT!!!  for the above picture, I sponged the Embossing Folder & then I ran it through the Big Shot with the EF and LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! Give this a try ~ my girls also had a blast at class playing with these different techniques! Gorgeous Grunge & a lotta love :-) ~ oh my, I had so much fun creating this card! When I saw the sketch at  Freshly Made Sketches #374  I knew I wanted hearts, so away I went!  My hearts aren't placed quite like the circles .... I LOVE this sketch , why don't you play along and join the fun!!!  I hope you're all staying warm and safe in the neck of the woods that this finds you in!  We are still stuck and super strong COLD snap...I don't want to be anywhere but in my studio, ...so the creativity keeps on happening and I'm having a blast!  I found 4 challenges that I wanted to join in!  So why don't you tuck yourself into your happy place and join in too!  My starting point was the sketch challenge at Global Design Project #174  I knew I wanted to play with the Meant To Be bundle and found this to join in the fun over at What Will You Stamp #204, along with the color challenge at Sunday Stamps #197 & we've got some LOVE happening here too over at Hand Stamped Sentiments #307 ...whew!!!! that was a mouth full!! I hope I'm not the only person out there that does the following.... You get set to create your blog post, find the links for you to join in the fun....and you've missed the deadline (insert annoyed Emoji here!!!)...well this happenened to me this morning ~ the Global Design Project  #173 color challenge of Soft Sea Foam, So Saffron & Petal Pink is closed!!!
