Monthly Christmas Card Challenge


The Christmas Stampathon 2026 Challenge for April is all about ... Trees Trees Trees ..

I actually don't have any current 'trees' stamps, so I broke my 'rule' and used a retired set (Evergreen Elegance) to create my cards for the challenge.  So here is what the challenge is all about...create 4 cards, all the same ish ... and you can now add those to your Christmas Card Stash and then, come November/December, you won't be scrambling to have all your cards completed.  So here we go with my card for the April Challenge....



here are the ingredients that you need to create this card...
or change it up and do your own thing

Basic White Card Base, 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 ~ score at 4 1/4
Basic White Scrap for Snowbank and Sentiment
DSP ~ Lights of Aurora DSP ~ 4 x 5 1/4

Hello Friends and Welcome here!  I've jumped in on a couple of challenges today, come and see what I've created using these starting points..... First, I found this great sketch at AHSC#639 and the wonderful challenge from  Stampin’ Up! Only Challenge #381  So here we go ... I used the Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder, flipped it over to the Debossed Side and played with my Blending Brushes, once the 'painting' was done, I ran the Secret Sea Ink Pad across the entire panel.  Now once that was done, I realized that I ran my ink pad a little to hard across the panel... so then I grabbed my White Craft ink pad to quite down the depth of colour...ohhh...a happy accident !! Now, during my live .... my BLOOPER live ... I created this card panel using the same technique.  This time I used Lemon Lolly to run across my 'painted' panel. I love how this turned out !!! I love it when I find a Perfect sketch as a starting point for my card ~ I found this at the  As You See It #362  sketch challenge... come and see what I've come up with!! the challenge from Tic Tac Toe #285 works with my card! I was inspired by the Texture, Free and Sparkle.  the Texture is the amazing Embossing Folder and Dry Embossing Technique and the Sparkle is the Earthen Toned DSP Some of my Pre-order ... the DSP Nature Walk and the Gears & Textures Bundle..so stinkin' PERFECT for those Masculine Cards!!!! Stamping 411 Challenge Times Two

Good day to you and welcome here! Summer has come and for that, I am very thankful and excited! I love summer...playing in my garden, swimming in the pool, bocci in the backyard, camping, fresh fruit...my list is endless. Staying with the summer theme, I was so excited when I saw the color challenge at Stamping 411 #158 ~ Real Red!!!! I'm creating a Strawberry...mmmmmm!!!! And this template is wonderful to showcase what I have milling in my thoughts! Join in the fun here ! And so if you love strawberries, this just may cause you to grab a bowl of fruit ~ enjoy!!! These Strawberries are SO much fun to create ~ and I failed to take note of the site that I found this fabulous creation on ~ when I find it, I'll pass that along!
