Hello friends, welcome here to my Clean & Simple Blog Post ~

I followed this great sketch from TSOT #638 ~ I did keep my card really Clean & Simple
It was SO fun to pull out a bunch of Retired items and have a play!


 This embossing folder reminded me of Confetti falling to the ground ~ 
I do like the outcome of this simple card ~ 


what do you think? It's actually way out of my comfort zone as I don't create Clean & Simple cards very often ~

    Great CAS card, Denise! White on white is always a classic and the wheat cardstock is just the right touch. The background texture and glimmer paper add interest as well. Nicely done. Thank you for joining us at Try a Sketch on Tuesday #638. -- Melanie R.

Technique Tuesday, Adoring Hearts ~ #denisewillerton #stampinchezmoi #stampinupcanada

Hello friends and I want to wish you a Blessed Happy New Year!!!  A year filled with love, hope and peace!!! And I want to welcome you here, to the first Technique Tuesday of the year.  The call for this Technique is using the Brayer!  Oh boy, I haven't used my Brayer in years...so here we go!! Did you see this new Embossing Folder?  It's from the new Adoring Hearts Bundle and wow!!! what a Bundle this is, we have the Stamp Set, Embossing Hybrid Folder, and the Dies, that work with the Embossing Folder.  So whenever you have an Embossing Folder, that is Hybrid, well, that means you Die Cut and Emboss at the same time...Easy Peasy and AMAZING!!! So what I did was, with my Blackberry Bliss Stamp Pad, I inked Brayered the inside of the Embossing Folder, then carefully laid the Die into the Embossing Folder, placed a 6" x 6" piece of Basic White CS, into the folder!  Ran that through my Cut & Emboss Machine and voilà Stampin Dimensionals behind these sweet hearts and
