Hello friends, welcome here...I'm so glad you've popped in today! The inspiration mood board from the Inkspirational Challenge is FABULOUS!!! Look at all the yummy goodness that you can choose from ~ well, I've been wanting to play with my strips of scraps lately and so I couldn't wait to get creating using the macarons (yum is right) as my starting place!
So I am grabbing the fabulous macarons above as my color palette for my strips of scrap CardStock ! And these colors just scream SPRING !!!! Bring it on !!! I'm SO done with winter this year!!!
I'm also jumping in on the Seize The Birthday Challenge as well ~ I need a spring Birthday Card, so how perfect is that!!
Now how can you have spring without Ice Cream...it's a food group for me!!! I LOVE Ice Cream. Heavenly Hash, Espresso Flake, Georgia Mudfudge with a scoop of score ... do I have you craving Ice Cream yet ???
And challenge # 3 comes from the wonderful Freshly Made Sketches#579 ~ this sketch is PERFECT for the card that I'm wanting to create ~ now I did flip this sketch in portrait orientation!
Now the background of my card represents strips from my bin and my colors are the yummy macarons from the above challenge! The colors of each strip beginning with the top right side are, Early Espresso, Cajun Craze, Polished Pink, Petal Pink, Mango Melody, Granny Apple Green, Coastal Cabana, Pacific Point, Very Vanilla ~ this was my interpretation of the layer of macarons!

This great sketch from Sunday Stamps #348 was a super starting point for me! I was really feeling a Book Fold card ~ PERFECT!!! Now a Book Fold Card is Quick & Easy...the DSP does all the work for you and before you know it ... Your card is DONE!!! Well I found a new challenge that I have never joined before and jumped in on the Alphabet Challenge So I'm still on a Christmas Card streak and found another great challenge from The Paper Players #716 and so, of course, I needed to jump in on this! Come and join me in my studio (see video BELOW) as I create this sweet Gift Box Idea using 6" x 6" DSP and I'll also create a Gift Bag using 12" x 12" DSP the Challenge at Stampin Dreams is to create Christmas Gift Packaging or Tags ~ so I thought I'd go for both ~ let's create a Mini Triangle Gift Box with a small Tag! And the challenge at TSOT#660 was to follow this sketch ... now I'm not sure if my Gift Box qualifies, but it sure looks like the challenge sketch! I've got some wonderful Glitter using Ribbon on the Gift Tag as well as my Medium Gift Bag, so let's jump in on the SUOC#366 Challenge Lastly, but certainly NOT Least, is the challenge from Inspired By#313 which is all about Gifting ... well, here we go!!! This Envelope Gift Bag is great for a Pack of Embellishments, Ribbon, Socks, Etc. so a great Gift Bag for a medium sized gift!!! I hope you have enjoyed my project and that I have left you with some inspiration. Don...
