I also joined this wonderful sketch challenge from TSOT #587 ~ these gals are amazing!!!
and what a great sketch ~ this is always my starting point, I find I sketch that I think I'd like to play with, and away I go! ~ I get all my elements together and before I adhere anything, I make sure I like what I see!  Now I needed a Birthday card for our grandson and he's all about music!!! So I knew I wanted to play with th Music Melody EF ~ and he plays the Oboe, what a beautiful instrument ... and so, I also knew, I wanted to play with Silver Foil Paper..so that was my starting off point!  Oh I hope he likes his birthday card!  What do you think?

Technique Tuesday, Adoring Hearts ~ #denisewillerton #stampinchezmoi #stampinupcanada

Hello friends and I want to wish you a Blessed Happy New Year!!!  A year filled with love, hope and peace!!! And I want to welcome you here, to the first Technique Tuesday of the year.  The call for this Technique is using the Brayer!  Oh boy, I haven't used my Brayer in years...so here we go!! Did you see this new Embossing Folder?  It's from the new Adoring Hearts Bundle and wow!!! what a Bundle this is, we have the Stamp Set, Embossing Hybrid Folder, and the Dies, that work with the Embossing Folder.  So whenever you have an Embossing Folder, that is Hybrid, well, that means you Die Cut and Emboss at the same time...Easy Peasy and AMAZING!!! So what I did was, with my Blackberry Bliss Stamp Pad, I inked Brayered the inside of the Embossing Folder, then carefully laid the Die into the Embossing Folder, placed a 6" x 6" piece of Basic White CS, into the folder!  Ran that through my Cut & Emboss Machine and voilà Stampin Dimensionals behind these sweet hearts and
