I'm so excited to join the challenge at PP#614.  I love this sketch and followed it quite loosely ~ 
I hope this is okay !!!  thank you for this great sketch!  I hope you jump in on these fabulous challenges.  It's a great way to give you that starting place.  I know for me, I ALWAYS need that!


and with this being a Birthday card, I also qualify for the fabulous challenge at Seize The Birthday #250 and I kept with the birthday theme!


I embossed the 'Happy Birthday' from the Let's Celebrate Embossing Folder and cut that to size! The sentiment is taken from the soon to be available Framed Florets stamp set ~ oh my ... you NEED this Bundle!!!

Card Base ~ Basic White ~ 8 1/2” x 5 1/2” ~ score at 4 1/4”

  • Snowflake Vellum ~ 4 1/4” x 4”
  • Basic White ~ 4” x 1 1/4” ~ Emboss using the Let’s Celebrate EF
  • Basic Black ~ 3” x 3” ~ Die cut using Layering Circle Dies
  • Basic White ~ 2 3/4” x 2 3/4” ~ Die cut using Beautiful Shapes Dies

Hello friends and I want to wish you a Blessed Happy New Year!!!  A year filled with love, hope and peace!!! And I want to welcome you here, to the first Technique Tuesday of the year.  The call for this Technique is using the Brayer!  Oh boy, I haven't used my Brayer in years...so here we go!! Did you see this new Embossing Folder?  It's from the new Adoring Hearts Bundle and wow!!! what a Bundle this is, we have the Stamp Set, Embossing Hybrid Folder, and the Dies, that work with the Embossing Folder.  So whenever you have an Embossing Folder, that is Hybrid, well, that means you Die Cut and Emboss at the same time...Easy Peasy and AMAZING!!! So what I did was, with my Blackberry Bliss Stamp Pad, I inked Brayered the inside of the Embossing Folder, then carefully laid the Die into the Embossing Folder, placed a 6" x 6" piece of Basic White CS, into the folder!  Ran that through my Cut & Emboss Machine and voilà Stampin Dimensionals behind these sweet hearts and

The theme is  THANKS  ~ who doesn't love to receive a thank you card in the mail.  It's always such a blessing to have someone acknowledge you with a thank YOU card.  And a handmade card is just the bonus! I just love this new Stippled Roses Bundle!!!  I grabbed by Bubble Bath & Lost Lagoon Stampin' Blends and got to some coloring, which I do LOVE to do!! I ran that through my Cut & Emboss Machine once my Blending was complete, placed Dimensionals behind, out with the Simply Elegance Trim, which is fact just that!!!  I love this Trim...it is a must have in your studio!
