CTD#364, STB, RS#185

Our one and only little girl turns 2 next week! Katie is a sweet little cutie


I found three fabulous challenges to play along with and thus began creating Katie's Birthday card!
The colours for Colour Throwdown #364 were prefect for her card, then I found this great sketch at Retro Sketch #185 and Seize the Birthday of course!  Thanks for these wonderful challenges ladies ~ oh you know you want to join in the fun, so get inking!!!




 So I flipped my card on it's side ~ pulled out my Prisma Pencil crayons, just to add a wee splash of color after I cut my image and frame using the Circles Collection Framlits~ I inked up the heart from Work of Art and created my DSP and used the die cut from Banner Framlits, played with my new EF Softly Falling (love it) ~ super sweet and simple birthday card

    Aah! She is cute! I have a Katie also and she is our one and only grandchild. Probably be the only one ever! At least that is what I am told.

Hello friends and I want to wish you a Blessed Happy New Year!!!  A year filled with love, hope and peace!!! And I want to welcome you here, to the first Technique Tuesday of the year.  The call for this Technique is using the Brayer!  Oh boy, I haven't used my Brayer in years...so here we go!! Did you see this new Embossing Folder?  It's from the new Adoring Hearts Bundle and wow!!! what a Bundle this is, we have the Stamp Set, Embossing Hybrid Folder, and the Dies, that work with the Embossing Folder.  So whenever you have an Embossing Folder, that is Hybrid, well, that means you Die Cut and Emboss at the same time...Easy Peasy and AMAZING!!! So what I did was, with my Blackberry Bliss Stamp Pad, I inked Brayered the inside of the Embossing Folder, then carefully laid the Die into the Embossing Folder, placed a 6" x 6" piece of Basic White CS, into the folder!  Ran that through my Cut & Emboss Machine and voilà Stampin Dimensionals behind these sweet hearts and
