Fun Fun Fun!
I had the BEST day EVER today ~ my girlfriend came over at 10:15am and the creativity was flowing ~ my girlfriend made two amazing cards (should've taken a picture of us creating)...I love watching her create ~ out with the sketch she's wants to follow ~ a little tweak here and another there and there it is ~ another STUNNER...and yes, should have taken a picture ~ DUH!!! Thanks for the best day my friend ~ I am blessed beyond words :-)
and then I found a sweet sketch to follow, although it wasn't open any longer, but I was on a roll and lovin' the sketch and the card that I was CASing .... thanks for your amazing card LeAnne ... I hope you're okay with me using your card for inspiration ~ your card is absolutely stunning ~ love your creativity so much...so wonderful to see what you share! Thanks
So here's my cards that were inspired by LeAnne's card and the sketch at Just Add Ink
I created each of these just a bit different ~ the top card has a crunched tilted panel (don't care for that) and used the Perfect Polka Dot EF (love that)! So I think I'll recreate this again, but next time I'll use the embossing folder, sponge my edges without distressing them...let's see if I like that even better ~ what a great day of creating ~
thanks for popping by, I hope you enjoyed your time here ~ have a great day ~
If you live in Winnipeg or the vicinity and would like to host a party I would love to come and stamp with you and your friends!! Or, if space is an issue, come here and create with me at one of my many clubs or classes! Drop me a line for further info!
I'd love to meet you! Enjoy your day!
Please pop in on http://www.chezmoicreations2.blogspot.com ...you'll find a link to some knitting that I've created. Drop me a line if you have any questions!
Oh, you know I am thrilled that you used my card as your inspiration, and what gorgeous cards you created! How fun that you had some stamping time with your friend and you were able to get those creative juices flowing! I love how you combined stamp sets to make a wedding card!!! I think I really need that Guy Greetings set....it's just too good to pass up for a vintage freak like me! Enjoy your day!!! We're snowed in a wee bit today!
ReplyDeleteI had to check in here first thing this morning to see if you had posted these yet;) You are so right.........what a wonderful day spent creating together......I am blessed with your friendship.
ReplyDeleteYou already know that I love these. I love this colour combo. I totally agree, when looking at them together. I love the 2nd better and would add the EF to the Rose Red layer.
You did such a wonderful job of putting images together here to create a wedding card........a little for her and a little for him......and the result is a beautiful vintage card.
I can't wait til the next time;)
Denise, this looks wonderful!!
