3 Challenges ~ One Wedding Card!
Well, I'm back again...and so excited to be creating a card and posting as well ~ hopefully this time I'll remember to link my card to the wonderful challenges that I've entered. My last post (which I was also SO excited about)...well...I forgot to link it the the Paper Craft Crew Challenge! I'd like to believe that it's a 'rusty' issue and not a 'duh' moment! Okay, let's not go there!!!!
So here are the fabulous challenges that I'm entering this week ~ Ribbon Carousel, and the challenge was the theme for the month Love is in the air...a new project and ribbon (check, check, check) and then the challenge at Sugar Creek Hollow #47 was Vintage or Shabby Chic cards and ROMANTIC LOVE. (check on vintage & a wedding card....romantic love, check) and so with that I began my card...well actually, I created my card first and then found the FABULOUS challenges that worked along with my card!
I'm loving my new dress die, and as you can see, cut out my dress along with some lace that I had kicking around...forever!!!! Got my Big Shot out and began to texture my Whisper White CS. And a Wedding card would never be complete without ribbon (a thin strip found on the waist line) and topped with a line of pearls!
I knew I wanted to create my card in the Easel Style and wanted my Sentiment to say ~
You May Now...Kiss The Bride ~ out with my laptop to create my sentiment to be cut out with my heart die ~ I was pleasantly surprised when I realized that The Friday Mashup! FM95 called for 2. Or Make a project "Creating your own Sentiment (No Stamps, Stickers, Chipboard etc.). (check once again)!!!
The church will be decorated with long silver leafed garland ~ hence the Glossy Silver CS adorning my heart shapes! I really enjoyed creating this card and I hope you enjoyed your little visit with me ~ thank you so much for popping by ~ if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask! I'd love to chat with you ~ Enjoy Your Day!
Please pop in on http://chezmoicreations2.blogspot.ca ...you'll find a link to some knitting that I created. Drop me a line if you have any questions!
