Dynamic Duos #18 & FMS #50
What a Dynamic Duo...literally...and I actually stamped, played, and sang in my room today, I was constantly being pulled outside to play in my garden and my knitting needles were also calling me ~ oh...but my POOR neglected stamps and toys won the day...I had a blast!!! So here is the fabulous sketch from Freshly Made that I followed...and incidentally...there is still time to play, so run and have some fun!!!
And then I followed the color challenge over at Dynamic Duos...
and yes, I'm using a Red shade once again, which I seem to run from, I'm pleased with the out come of this card ~ it does look sweeter IRL ~ once I got going on this card, I realized that I actually don't own Poppy Parade Stamp Pad, so I improvised by using Ruby Red, but my CS is Poppy Parade ~ so here's my card...and I also really wanted to try Triple Time Stamping...and I LOVE this Technique! So did you notice...my En Francais is upside down!!! RMS ~ rusty mojo syndrome!
Well I had SO much fun with this sketch as well as Technique, I just had to create another card using a different color scheme and then I also stamped up my Everything Eleanor for the first time!!! I love stamping and so seldom create during the summer months ~ it was SO nice to play in my studio today! Oh how I wish you could see the dazzling details on each stamen on this card...this really does not do the card any justice!!! It is actually quite stunning!
I hope I have left you inspired to ink up your stamps and to play along with these fabulous challenges...be sure to stop by the design team and see their wonderful creations! Have a super day and enjoy this long weekend! Blessings to you and yours!

OH these are gorgeous! Isn't this technique wonderful? I did another card using this technique a couple of days ago - can't seem to get enough of it. You've showcased is beautifully. This sketch works really with the technique too. I love the colours of the first one.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful card. I love your design and use of colour. Great stamping

ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful cards Denise! Wow! Love the colour choices and your take on not only the sketch but on Triple Time! Love the added butterfly! Thanks for joining us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!
ReplyDeleteI like what you have made, love that you have created your panels differently by the uneven panels for the Tripple Time Technique. Pretty card. Thanks for joining us at Dynamic Duos this week.
ReplyDeleteSo very pretty! I have yet to try this technique, although it is on my long list of things to do! Both are just beautiful, even if your words are upside down!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning cards, Denise...upside or not! This is such a lovely technique! And who among us has not suffered from RMS :) Thanks for playing with Freshly Made Sketches!
ReplyDeleteFabulous design. Love the flowers against the stamped background. Thanks for playing with us at Dynamic Duos!
ReplyDeleteI love this technique Denise, the colours look amazing with the french script and red flowers, plus the butterfly pop! Thanks for playing with us at Dynamic Duos and Freshly Made Sketches this week!
ReplyDeleteBoth of them are very lovely. ;-) I had to giggle about the text being upside down - if I had a nickel for every time I did something like that, I'd be rich! Nice job with both of the challenges. ;-)
