Friday Mash Up & Freshly Made!
Fall has definitely been ushered into my neighborhood ~ the trees are glorious, the air is crisp and the garden has fallen into it's winter rest....did I say winter!!! You bet, and I've been busy getting ready for my Christmas Stack Class ~
here is a peek at just one of the cards that we will be creating ~ I flipped the sketch from {Freshly Made}
and loosely followed it and my card also qualifies for the Friday Mash Up, as they called out for snowflakes! ~ thanks girls for these wonderful challenges ~ please visit these gals and join in the fun!
And the card..........I sponged just a tad around this wonderful tree found in the Christmas Lodge stamp set ~ what a beautiful set and a must have in my studio! The snowflake was created using the Northern Frost Die, sticky tape & Dazzling Diamonds....a girl can never have to many dazzling diamonds! It's really hard to tell in the photo, but I used Shimmery White CS ~ there is a very subtle misting of snowflakes across the card front! I also kissed the curls using Dazzling Details under the
Merry Christmas!
And the inside, as you can see I've done some sponging to the edges, I found it too stark and wanted to soften the look a bit. I had orginally sponged the edges with Riding Hood Red and found it still needed to be softened a bit more, so I gently added Old Olive on top of it, I was pleased with the out come! What do you think?
Thank you so much for stopping by today, if you have any question, please drop me a line, I'd love to hear from you ~ your comments are important to me and I read each and every one! I hope I have inspired you to create today ~ blessings to you and yours, have a wonderful day!
If you live in Winnipeg or the vicinity and would like to host a party I would love to come and stamp with you and your friends!! Or, if space is an issue, come here and create with me at one of my many clubs or classes! Drop me a line for further info! I'd love to meet you! Enjoy your day!
