Is It Too Late ~ PP62 & Page Maps

I guess I'll start my post with a question....is it too late to send a birthday card almost two months after someone's birthday! Do you ever do that, all of a sudden you realized you missed the day or even the month? Yikes....now what do I do...just let it continue to go by even though it's naggin' at you...or send a very belated birthday blessing...hmmmm....that is my question ~ now on to my card!
The Paper Players have a great challenge this week and I can't believe that I'm playing along ~ summer is extremely busy for me with family, gardening, visiting, camping....and sadly, I don't really get a chance to play in my studio...I'm so blessed that my garden is my other happy place!
Paper Players 62 is wanting a Birthday Card...how did they know what was tugging at my heart!

I then followed a sketch from Page Maps...and here is a picture of my card!

~ and the inside of the card ~

I created my butterfly using the 'baby wipe technique' ~ What fun...I really enjoyed this technique ~ I then laid the butterfly down on my Versa Mark Pad and inked it up, covered it with Clear EP and set it with the heat gun! Stunning!!!

I chose my colors using my color coach... I love this tool, I guess my other question to self would be....why in the world didn't I get this fabulous tool sooner! It is wonderful and a must have in my studio!

If you have any question, please don't hesitate to drop me a line! Thanks so much for stopping by, have a great day and enjoy your weekend! It is beautiful and very summery (is that a word?) here in Winnipeg!
Enjoy this day!

If you live in Winnipeg or the vicinity and would like to host a party I would love to come and stamp with you and your friends!! Or, if space is an issue, come here and create with me at one of my many clubs or classes! Drop me a line for further info! I'd love to meet you! Enjoy your day!
