Paper Players Challenge #57 ~ Rock On!

Why does summer get SO busy...I always seem to be running ~ not getting things done that I would like to ~ running again...okay, sorry, you didn't pop in for this...but I was so thrilled to have some time to create a birthday card for our son Marc! He'll be home in a few days along with his beautiful wife ~ I can't wait to see them ~ I don't do long distance well ~ Nance, thanks so much for this wonderful sketch to follow ~ I'm down to the last minute, but I made it just in time to join the girls at Paper Players! Here's Nance's sketch

And my son's birthday card ~ I purchased this stamp set with him in mind, so it was so fun to ink it up and put this together for him ~ sure hope he likes it ~ I would love for you to have a listen to his music, here's a link to his my space and his birthday card!

    Love all the elements on this card, the sponging, background stamping and I love how you have stamped the focal image onto a white bacground it really pops off the page!

    I just saw your comment on my blog so thanks for looking in. It is pretty weird as I today I have been wanting to make a card with keyboard paper. I don't have any so thanks to this fab card I know now where to go. My solution today was to take a photo of my husband'd keyboard and I am going to see if I can adapt that for my card-hopefully will be on the blog soon.
    I am sure your son will love this card
