Stampin' Chez Moi

What a fun day of creating I had today ~ I can't believe I finally inked up my Awesomely Artistic Stamp Set ~ I've had this sitting in my cupboard for months...today was the day...I was determined to use it and found my starting point with these fabulous challenges that I played along with... I started with Color Throwdown , loosely followed the sketch from Sugar Pea Sketch 47 , found inspiration at The Card Concept and because this is a birthday card for a friend, I jumped in at Seize The Birthday !  Join in the fun and come create along with everyone!!! I used Old Olive and Tempting Turquoise on my Whisper White Panel ~ it's almost hard to see the white with all the stampin' & sponging that I did...but it's there!!! As I said previously ~ I very loosely followed this sketch ~ love the sketches found on this site!  My inspiration came from seeing so much going on in the photo, so I followed #5 ~ Free style Collage ~ lots of sponging a

I've been having so much fun creating in my new small quarters ~ our second bedroom is working out quite nicely ~ I've gone from an 1800 sq foot studio to a regular size bedroom. It has a sofa bed (grandkids/guests sleepover bed), big screen TV and a lot of my toys nicely stored in the closet!  So it really isn't about how much you have, but how you make the most of what you have :-) I love creating masculine cards...not an easy feat, but this sketch from Try Stampin' On Tuesday was absolutely perfect for my card. although I don't have a sentiment on the face of my card ~ I did create this as a birthday card, so I'm hoping that the lovely gals at Seize The Birthday will accept this an an entry for their current challenge ~ do come and join in the fun with these fabulous challenge blogs Onto my card ~ what do you think? thanks so much for popping by, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask ~ have a wonderful day!

Super Sweet & Simple Easter Card I can't' resist this little chick ~  he is so adorable and I just had to ink him up and create a sweet little Easter card for our grandchildren ~ one down ~ seven more to go! Talk about 'under the wire' ~ wow!!! I think I've made the deadline ~ all I have to do is post this and I'm in...please phone...don't ring ~ so here we go!!!
