This will more than likely be my last post of the year ~ unless I pop in a few pictures during our stay at Banff as we celebrate Christmas with our children and my sister ~ Thanks to everyone who has made my first few months of 'blogging' a wonderful experience! What a wonderful week before Christmas that we have had here at home! All of the family together, chatting about our up and coming trip, early Christmas with my parents...all the while working on a birthday card for our son...so here is the challenge from Stamping 411 Saturday Sketch Challenge 182 As soon as I saw this, I knew I would created his card with this in mind ~ and then ~ I saw the color challenge from Stacey's Stamping Stage   and the  Curtain Call Color Challenge: {ACT 61} So here is my card for our son's 29th birthday I was having real issues with saving my cropped picture, not sure why I was unable to import my edited version, so sorry for the 'bad' picture....and now this morning it worked, so I actually changed my original snap of this card! Welcome to Inkspirations Christmas Gift Blog Tour !!!  I'm sure you're overflowing with great Christmas gift ideas now ~ These gals are so talented and I count it such a privilege to be apart of this tour ~ I'm sure you enjoyed your time with  Gardenia ...isn't she amazing! I hope you have a great visit with me and feel inspired as you take a peek at just a few creations that I've been busy with!  I created this gift box for a dear friend ~ I had a personalized mug painted for her and this was the perfect way to wrap it up ~  I had so much fun creating this gift box ~ now it's wrapped up and ready to be gifted! Here are a few snaps of her Gift Tag ~ I found this on Tammy White's blog and knew I needed to create this to go along with my Gift Box! I pulled the ornament up toward the knot of my ribbon..... ...Then back down toward my Gift Tag, that has now become a Star! Isn't that adorable! My last creation that I'd like to

It was so much fun joining in the challenge from  Color Throwdown  today ~ I've been so busy with Christmas prep, caring for my in-laws who have been quite ill for the past few days and just keeping up with daily needs ~ my DH was home sick today, I wasn't 100%, but well enough to play along, so this consumed my day and I had a blast! So when I grabbed my colors I couldn't believe that I don't own Pear Pizzazz in Write Marker or Stamp Pad, so I improvised the coloring of my holly leaves with Wild Wasabi ~ sure hope that's okay! My little jewellery tags were punched with Pear Pizzazz and stamped using Riding Hood Red. The ornament was stamped with Versa Mark and then embossed with Iridescent Ice EP, it looks amazing IRL, but I'm not totally pleased with the out come of the card....I feel like there's something missing ~ not sure what that is....any idea's, I'd love to hear them! Well I'm ready for our Christmas Gathering! The table is set, the gift boxes are stuffed, the Wassail is simmering, the music is playing, the candles are lit ~ I just need to hear the bells at the front door and the festivities will begin! Here's a picture of the table scattered with their thank you gifts! Too bad it turned out a bit blurry! My Christmas dishes are so much fun ~  I love serving with them and can't wait to bless my friends this evening!  Little 'Cake boxes' that I create and tucked little gifts in them for my girls to enjoy!  I also created little Luminaries for each of the girls to take home and warm up a cozy corner with them!
