STB #196

Dean & I are currently away on vacation...or should I say staycation....we ARE actually away from home and living at our LakeHouse...what a beautiful place to sit, relax and enjoy God' creation in our little piece or paradise!


You can imagine my surprise when I received an email from one of the local jewelry stores that I create greeting cards for! Yikes ~ 50 cards ~ with the little bit of Stampin' Up supplies that I packed ~ let's get this order complete! I quickly did some die cutting at home before we left for the lake!

I had fun playing along with the challenge at Seize The Birthday #196 and created this Birthday Card ~ I hope you join in the fun too!


here's the card that I created as part of the card order that I need to complete ~ they always want clean, simple and black & white cards ~ And as you can see, I've used some of my much loved retired items ~ Time to get to work or should I say play!

Hello friends and I want to wish you a Blessed Happy New Year!!!  A year filled with love, hope and peace!!! And I want to welcome you here, to the first Technique Tuesday of the year.  The call for this Technique is using the Brayer!  Oh boy, I haven't used my Brayer in years...so here we go!! Did you see this new Embossing Folder?  It's from the new Adoring Hearts Bundle and wow!!! what a Bundle this is, we have the Stamp Set, Embossing Hybrid Folder, and the Dies, that work with the Embossing Folder.  So whenever you have an Embossing Folder, that is Hybrid, well, that means you Die Cut and Emboss at the same time...Easy Peasy and AMAZING!!! So what I did was, with my Blackberry Bliss Stamp Pad, I inked Brayered the inside of the Embossing Folder, then carefully laid the Die into the Embossing Folder, placed a 6" x 6" piece of Basic White CS, into the folder!  Ran that through my Cut & Emboss Machine and voilà Stampin Dimensionals behind these sweet ...

I just love this new Stippled Roses Bundle!!!  I grabbed by Bubble Bath & Lost Lagoon Stampin' Blends and got to some coloring, which I do LOVE to do!! I ran that through my Cut & Emboss Machine once my Blending was complete, placed Dimensionals behind, out with the Simply Elegance Trim, which is fact just that!!!  I love this Trim...it is a must have in your studio! Spend $60 OR $120 and receive some AMAZING Stampin' Up product for FREE...But let's chat about Thoughtful Expressions from the New Mini!!!   I LOVE this Bundle I stamped Tone on Tone on using Lost Lagoon on my card panel ~ then Versa Mark and Black Embossing Powder onto Basic White, and then I got to some coloring using Stampin' Blends I started with Light & Dark Mossy Meadow on the leaves, colored the edges of the flowers using Dark Lost Lagoon, then Light Lagoon beside that, then Light Pool Party and the centers with Light Daffodil Delight The Ribbon is Pretty Peacock & Gold, Petal Pink & Pretty Peacock Foiled Gems ~ check out that fabulous circle Die Cut, Everyday Details Dies...seriously, these are SO FUN I hope you have enjoyed my project and that I have left you with some inspiration.
