Sweet Gift Card Holer

I needed a gift card holder for one of our friend couples from our Bible Study Group.  They are heading west at the end of the month and I can't send someone off without a little something. First I found out which restaurants are located in the town they are moving to and proceeded to create their gift card holder to house their Boston Pizza card!  Natalie is a sweet young lady and I know she'll love this girly card holder.....Stephen on the other hand will just have to understand...it's all about the purses and shoes...and the bonus for him is a night out with his sweetheart! So here is my card holder..., I had a blast creating this!

Natalie is also crazy about "hello kitty" ~ how could I NOT create a hat for her ~ so here is my Hello Kitty hat that I crocheted for her ~ I know she'll wear this and love having it to add to her Hello Kitty Collection!
Have fun Natalie :-)

Thanks so much for popping by today ~ I hope you have a wonderful day

Bird On A Wire for the PCCC

It's more like Bird Under the Wire....I started this card yesterday morning, had to put it away to get ready for a class last night ~ I had three card makers, one scrapbooker and two knitters!!! And YES, two more gals knitting, they hadn't ever held a pair of knitting needles before, so right to the beginning...and they got it! Yipee for them ...anyway.....back to my story! So then when I got up this morning (knowing that I only had until 11am) ~ got up, got myself together, headed into the city to take our grandson Seth to school, stopped at the Meat Market, picked up what I needed for dinner tonight, zipped home, ran downstairs, finished my card, grabbed my laptop and here I am....thanks so much for joining me....are you throughly exhausted yet!!! SO much fun...I actually really like this card, I wasn't sure at first, but now that it's together, I'm pleased!

So here is the challenge from the PaperCraftCrewChallenge ~ thanks so much for the challenge, I really struggle with color challenges, so this is just the stretching and climbing out of the box that I need!

and a fabulous Sketch to follow!

And my card! As you can see, I didn't have my wheel well inked (say that fast 10 times)...but I guess it almost looks like it was done on purpose!

Super fast post...but thanks so much for stopping by ~ I hope you have a wonderful day!

3 Challenges ~ One Wedding Card!

Well, I'm back again...and so excited to be creating a card and posting as well ~ hopefully this time I'll remember to link my card to the wonderful challenges that I've entered. My last post (which I was also SO excited about)...well...I forgot to link it the the Paper Craft Crew Challenge! I'd like to believe that it's a 'rusty' issue and not a 'duh' moment! Okay, let's not go there!!!!
So here are the fabulous challenges that I'm entering this week ~ Ribbon Carousel, and the challenge was the theme for the month Love is in the air...a new project and ribbon (check, check, check) and then the challenge at Sugar Creek Hollow #47 was Vintage or Shabby Chic cards and ROMANTIC LOVE. (check on vintage & a wedding card....romantic love, check) and so with that I began my card...well actually, I created my card first and then found the FABULOUS challenges that worked along with my card!

I'm loving my new dress die, and as you can see, cut out my dress along with some lace that I had kicking around...forever!!!! Got my Big Shot out and began to texture my Whisper White CS. And a Wedding card would never be complete without ribbon (a thin strip found on the waist line) and topped with a line of pearls!

I knew I wanted to create my card in the Easel Style and wanted my Sentiment to say ~
You May Now...Kiss The Bride  ~ out with my laptop to create my sentiment to be cut out with my heart die ~ I was pleasantly surprised when I realized that The Friday Mashup! FM95 called for 2. Or Make a project "Creating your own Sentiment (No Stamps, Stickers, Chipboard etc.). (check once again)!!!
The church will be decorated with long silver leafed garland ~ hence the Glossy Silver CS adorning my heart shapes! I really enjoyed creating this card and I hope you enjoyed your little visit with me ~ thank you so much for popping by ~ if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask! I'd love to chat with you ~ Enjoy Your Day!
