I had the BEST day EVER today ~ my girlfriend came over at 10:15am and the creativity was flowing ~ my girlfriend made two amazing cards (should've taken a picture of us creating)...I love watching her create ~ out with the sketch she's wants to follow ~ a little tweak here and another there and there it is ~ another STUNNER...and yes, should have taken a picture ~ DUH!!!  Thanks for the best day my friend ~ I am blessed beyond words :-) and then I found a sweet sketch to follow, although it wasn't open any longer, but I was on a roll and lovin' the sketch and the card that I was CASing .... thanks for your amazing card LeAnne ... I hope you're okay with me using your card for inspiration ~ your card is absolutely stunning ~ love your creativity so much...so wonderful to see what you share! I was SO excited to receive my new Bigz L Fun Flower die ~ and I knew the minute it arrived, I'd be playing with my toy right away! When I saw the color challenge a few days ago from the Color Throwdown #131 , my wheels started turning as to what I was going to created ~ but... I was still waiting for my order to arrive...but I've got the colors down! Yipee!!! my order arrived and away I went...or so I thought! I knew where I wanted to go with this, but still really needing the help of sketch challenge as to exactly where to go...and wouldn't you know it...woke up the other morning and there was my template from Stamping 411 #193 ! What a fabulous holiday Monday I had ~ hubby and I spent the morning together ~ then he was inspired to start ripping up the wall to wall carpeting on the main floor. I'll show you some pictures in the next couple of days! We are installing hardwoods and we can't wait ~ but this will be a month or so process! So our main living area will be a 'fright' for some time, and I just need to be okay with that! So while Dean tore up carpeting I tore up some paper and I had an absolute blast! I found a color challenge at Inkspirations #58 that I really wanted to try and a sketch over at CCMC #138 I'm still on a vintage kick and loving' working with this style! I LOVE the 'Bliss' set that is available for FREE during Sale-a-bration. There was so much going on with this card that I decided to try and keep it as simple as possible in regards to embellishments. So I added one lonely pearl and really like the outcome of this. I created this anniversary card following the color challenge from CQC #71 for a darling friend of mine.  She is an extremely creative gal and loves anything elegant, vintage, pearly (it that a word?)...anyway, I think you get the idea ~ she is one classy girl! This is my first attempt at 'elegant' and I'm very pleased with the outcome!  This is the color challenge ~ Perfect for a vintage card...just her style...and then this morning I noticed this challenge from PPA #80, this was just too perfect to pass up, so the challenge from PPA was called  Vintage is in vogue!  Sure hope you like it my sweet friend :-) I just love the interesting fold that I did for this card!
