Stampin' Chez Moi

I needed a birthday card for my brother's 50th birthday and I love playing along with challenges which also gives me a starting point! So a hunting we did go!...and here are the two challenges that worked SO well for me ~ thanks so much for the inspiration and a great place to begin! The first challenge I found was the Friday Mashup ~ and their challenge was any past challenge which was great, so here is where I began! Perfect for a Manly birthday card for my brother!!! Now, can I find a color challenge that I like to go along with the idea that was brewing in my mind...and here is what I found at the PPA154  ~  my attempt was to use the Raspberry Ripple and Calypso Coral to give my truck an old rusty feel, I'm pleased with the outcome! I'm back...well, mostly back...now we need to put the house back together, but in the mean time ~ I was able to create and post ~ I found these fantastic colors at Paper Players challenge #46  ~ and enjoyed myself so much putting this together ~  ~ Here's a shot of my card along with the inside ~ This is a super quick post as I've got family coming for pizza and piano/organ moving night ~ it's called dinner with a purpose!
