Stampin' Chez Moi

What a crazy week we've had...packed up my FIL...moved him down the hall to a one bedroom in the same building ~ but when I unpacked, I went through EVERYTHING, I purged, sorted, reboxed things for my SIL & BIL and then as I cleaned I put things away. We went over on Thursday evening and moved everything into the new suite, left a path for dad so he could get to the washroom...and then I came back at 8am on Friday morning...7pm....DONE!!! So now I'm on a roll ~ slowly stared in my craft room on Saturday evening, then after church and lunch, I went back in...today is a holiday for us, so by 8am I was back in here...5pm DONE!!! Every stone was turned over, dusted, put back or thrown away! WOW!!! Now it's tidy in here and I want to create a card for my Mother's Birthday...let's see how well I do with putting my toys away when I'm done! I do tend to explode when I create, I try not to...but just can't seem to get a handle on that. Do you explode acro...

I had so much fun creating last night with some friends ~ it's all about sharing for me ~ I love to share my toys and watch as my friends enjoy themselves in my little studio! The Mojo Monday sketch grabbed me the second I saw it and knew this was my starting point The next thing that was really on my mind was my HUGE stash of DP... I so seldom grab that and was determined that is was NOT going to intimidate me any longer.... so here goes! I really like the my finished card, although it really didn't photograph very well. I really dislike having to create a sympathy card when I need one and my stash is very low, so much was accomplished today!  Thanks so much for stopping by ~ I hope you have a blessed day! I got together with a dear friend the other day and we created all day long....now that's what I call a super fun day! One of the cards that I created was a CASE from the fabulous  Dawn Olchefske Her creativity is wonderful ~ I love popping in on her and I know that you'll enjoy your time there as well ~ so what are you waiting for...go have a peek! I needed an anniversary card for some dear friends of ours and Dawn's card was just screaming at me... pick me, pick me...oh how I enjoyed creating this card! Welcome back, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and I'd like to wish you all the best in the New Year! I will be hosting my first class of the year on Monday the 9th and I sure hope I'm feeling better by then. I have been sick for over a month now and I can't seem to shake it! I spoke at a ladies Bible Study and then taught a simple Christmas card on the 22nd of November, by that evening I had  laryngitis and it's been one thing after another since then...the hardest part is... I'm never under the weather. I just don't seem to catch whatever it is that's going around...guess I can't say that anymore! I did still mange to have some play time (albeit not enough)...so in between sniffles, tissue, naps...yikes!!! are you sick of me yet!!!!
