Stampin' Chez Moi

Time for another fantastic sketch for you to follow here at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge ~ I enjoyed this sketch so much and as you can see, I loosely followed the sketch ~ come on in and join in the fun!!! I ran my Basic Black panel using the Ornate Embossing Folder ~ cut my sentiment using the fabulous Stitched So Sweetly Dies ~ I then fussy cut all the flowers from the True Love Design Paper! It's so hard to tell on the picture,  wish you could see the glitter ~ I spritz the entire card with Champagne Mist & rubbing alcohol mixture! I can't wait to see what you create following this great sketch!!! Call me crazy....I'm thrilled that it's pouring rain out today...my garden & flowers are getting watered...and I'm in my studio, playing, creating, singing to some favourite tunes and loving this day. I went on a hunt to find some challenges that I'd love to take part in and came across Lesley's Merry Monday Challenge ...I've always wanted to play along with this challenge, but never seemed to have the opportunity...but everything changed today! I had so much fun creating in my studio yesterday and was thrilled when my Mother's Day card qualified for three fabulous challenges. I absolutely love the colour challenge 134 over at PPA , you truly need to give this colour challenge a try ~ you'll love it!  After you check this challenge out, pop in at the girls from  Stamping 411  for the SSC 254 sketch challenge and then my card qualified over at the  PP94  challenge to celebrate Mothers. What a fabulous trio of challenges...oh you just have to play along!!! Dean & I had an evening to relax (after he buzzed in the city to show is parents how to use the remote control once again)...wow...what a week...and what a fun evening to sit, chat, create a card for a dear friend and watch Dean flip from American Pickers, Super Bowl...and whatever else he chose! and I played and shuffled paper around, shuffled a little more...but it did come together! Oh what fun to play...and I get to do this again tonight, the girls are coming over and we are working on whatever we choose, nothing to teach, just sharing my toys and lovin' it! I followed two challenges as I was creating my card ~ CTD #117 was fabulous and I couldn't wait to play and this absolutely perfect sketch was from the Paper Players...and as I was putting my post together, I realized that I was toooooooo late to submit to the PP#80 ~ oh well, I still had a blast :-) Thanks girls for this wonderful challenges that you throw our way! Well I finally got a chance to play along with another challenge ~ tea with my girlfriend this morning, and then a day of playing in my studio...what a fun day I've had!  So the cQc Challenge #68 was asking for these colors I rose to the challenge and created a little birthday card for our 2 year old grandson ~ Thomas the Train is his absolute favourite, every train he sees becomes his Thomas! I can't seem to capture my pictures well ~ it really does look better IRL ~ and so, here it is.... I used clear EP on Poppy Parade CS for my smoke, cut them out and used dimensionals to adhere them! and then continued with the train theme on the inside of my card. Sure hope our little man loves his card...and of course he'll be opening up some Thomas the Train gifts to add to his collection! Here is our little Birthday Boy holding his baby brother! not the greatest pictures due to the water glasses....but can't you feel the energy ~ he is SO much fun! Thank you so much ...
