Color Throwdown & Paper Players

Dean & I had an evening to relax (after he buzzed in the city to show is parents how to use the remote control once again)...wow...what a week...and what a fun evening to sit, chat, create a card for a dear friend and watch Dean flip from American Pickers, Super Bowl...and whatever else he chose! and I played and shuffled paper around, shuffled a little more...but it did come together! Oh what fun to play...and I get to do this again tonight, the girls are coming over and we are working on whatever we choose, nothing to teach, just sharing my toys and lovin' it! I followed two challenges as I was creating my card ~ CTD #117 was fabulous and I couldn't wait to play

and this absolutely perfect sketch was from the Paper Players...and as I was putting my post together, I realized that I was toooooooo late to submit to the PP#80 ~ oh well, I still had a blast :-) Thanks girls for this wonderful challenges that you throw our way! I love joining in the fun

Hello friends and I want to wish you a Blessed Happy New Year!!!  A year filled with love, hope and peace!!! And I want to welcome you here, to the first Technique Tuesday of the year.  The call for this Technique is using the Brayer!  Oh boy, I haven't used my Brayer in years...so here we go!! Did you see this new Embossing Folder?  It's from the new Adoring Hearts Bundle and wow!!! what a Bundle this is, we have the Stamp Set, Embossing Hybrid Folder, and the Dies, that work with the Embossing Folder.  So whenever you have an Embossing Folder, that is Hybrid, well, that means you Die Cut and Emboss at the same time...Easy Peasy and AMAZING!!! So what I did was, with my Blackberry Bliss Stamp Pad, I inked Brayered the inside of the Embossing Folder, then carefully laid the Die into the Embossing Folder, placed a 6" x 6" piece of Basic White CS, into the folder!  Ran that through my Cut & Emboss Machine and voilà Stampin Dimensionals behind these sweet ...
