No Stampin ~ but lots of Knitting!
Well I was really hoping to have some stampin' time this week, but it ended up being 6 days in the hospital ~ I had to rush my father-in-law into emergency after a routine check up ~
So my week consisted of visiting with my mother-in-law (really struggled with leaving her alone) and then bringing her up to see dad every day and then visiting with both of them...so...no stampin' for this girl...but knit, wow, did I knit...here's a shot of a hat that I knit for our grandson Isaac, this one was too small for him, so I whipped up another one and it fit him beautifully!
I should have taken a picture of Isaac with his hat on so you could see how adorable this looks on a childs head! So now I own a smaller version of the same hat....hmmmmm...maybe I should sell some of my creations...I seem to be knitting more than card creating...oh how it hurts to say that! I also knit two adorable baby beanies, but I haven't taken a picture of those yet...I will post them, hopefully some time this weekend, be sure to stop by and have a look!
I have a class on Monday night and I can't wait to see my girlfriends and just play! I guess I'd better tidy and reorganize my very messy card studio! Once I get down there and get some music playing, I have a blast cleaning my corner!
Thanks so much for stopping by today ~ I hope you enjoy this little knitting peek ~ if you are interested in this child's hat, let me know ~ head circumference is approx 16" and would fit a 6 to 12 month child!
If you live in Winnipeg or the vicinity and would like to host a party I would love to come and stamp with you and your friends!! Or, if space is an issue, come here and create with me at one of my many clubs or classes! Drop me a line for further info! I'd love to meet you! Enjoy your day!
Oh no! I hope your FIL is on the road to recovery! At least you could fill the time with a wonderful hobby that turns out such delightful creations!!!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, Denise! What a stressful week! The hat is adorable! Yes, you should start selling some of your knitted creations!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds as though your plate is full. I admire how you can knit away to fill in the gaps! Hope all improves each day and that you'll get back to stamping soon!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a lot going on Denise! I hope your FIL is doing a lot better and things have calmed down for you. Your hat, along with the others on your knitting page, is awesome! You are so creative! Hope you have a great day today! Big hugs! :)
