Stampin' Chez Moi

Dean & I are currently away on vacation...or should I say staycation....we ARE actually away from home and living at our LakeHouse...what a beautiful place to sit, relax and enjoy God' creation in our little piece or paradise! Just a quick little 'Hello' post this morning ~ my yard work is calling me ~ we are slowly getting the yard here at the LakeHouse tidied and more to what we envision it to be ~ here is a before and after of our little garden area ~ you've been asking for pictures, so here you go!!! this area was covered in Gout Weed and Ferns ~ I pulled it all out and then realized I forgot to take a picture of it all ~ the little statue is sitting on a huge square block of cement with two more on either side .... and then as I dug, there were three more that were actually buried !!!!! seriously!!!!! my sister came for a weekend and helped me with 'odd' jobs ~ thanks so much Diane!!! Ta-Da!!!! the area has been cleaned!!! We don't want to feed the deer ~ so up with the fence ~ thanks Dean xoxo  and there you have it ~ our wonderful garden ~ a whole lot smaller then the one on the acreage ~ and I love it ~ 15 minutes and it's weeded!!! ...

I don't know why I haven't done this sooner, but I guess today is a great day to start.... many of my girls send me pictures of the cards they have been creating, and they are beautiful ...so why haven't I been sharing that with you all ~ today is the day... so let's begin the show! I had such a wonderful time creating this birthday card at the lake this past week.....and I'm also so excited to joining in the fun at Seize the Birthday ! this is my first attempt with the Z Fold Planter Box Card ~ credit is due to  Bronwyn Eastley  This is our first summer as LakeHouse owners and we are enjoying it SO much ~ the fresh air, the lake, the trees, the smells and sounds of birds sweetly singing...oh I could go on and on!!!  So being at the LakeHouse definitely has is challenges when it comes to creating ~ you see, I only have a certain amount of supplies that I've brought along with me.  All my ink pads are at home, so all I have are my stampin' spots and a limited number of colours available to use and not all my cardstock either...so I have to be quite creative and use what I have on hand. ~ Here is a picture of my view from where I am blessed to create ~  We are blessed ~ and here is my card creation ~    ...
