Stamping 411 Challenge #194 & 152
I just loved this challenge and they both came from Stamping 411 ~ if you've never joined this challenge, you really should ~ I love playing along with this ~ So first I found the colors that I would be playing with and this was the Stamping 411 Color Inspiration #152 ~ and then the sketch at Stampin 411 Sketch #194
I knew exactly what I wanted to play with ~ so out with Forest Friends (this sketch was perfect)....incidentally....another stamp set that I had never played with...I think I'm on a roll here!
~ Here's the picture of my card ~
As I began to play with this, I thought I was really going to be able to keep my sponge away ~ but I just can't seem to do it ~ I LOVE TO SPONGE MY EDGES!!! So after I stamped my Pear Pizzazz with my Sanded Stamp ~ out with my sponge!
I put together each little frame as follows ~
Each little Forest Friend was punched out with my 1 1/4 Square Punch and then sponged (surprise!!!) ~
I then punched out a Scallop Square using Concord Crush and then
a 1 3/8 square with So Saffron.
Here is a quick side view and inside of my card!
Thank you so much for stopping by ~ I hope you're have a fabulous day ~
If you live in Winnipeg or the vicinity and would like to host a party I would love to come and stamp with you and your friends!! Or, if space is an issue, come here and create with me at one of my many clubs or classes! Drop me a line for further info! I'd love to meet you!
Enjoy your day!

Love the way you've combined the challenges!! You card is super sweet :)
ReplyDeleteDenise, this card it so adorable. I love how you used this "neglected" set. It's perfect for this card. It is a set I don't own because I didn't think I'd have a use for it - you've shown me a wonderful use for it. I love how you have the So Saffron peeking out from behind the scalloped squares.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun card, Denise. Love it. A great rendition of both challenges...and I love the inside of the card. Combining that image and the sentiment is super cute. Love it.
