Stampin' Chez Moi

I pray that this finds you well, safe and peaceful ~ during this time of isolation and social distancing, it's easy to feel alone and anxious ~ I do pray that you are strong, brave and taking one day at a time ~  Matthew 6:26 reads as so ~  Look at the birds of the  air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and  yet  your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they? ~ I hope that you find comfort in these words ~ Be at Peace ~  Did you create your April Paper Pumpkin yet? I'm now two for two ~ two months in a row and both times I did my own thing!  It was SO much fun....why didn't I work on my Paper Pumpkin sooner...game changer for me... I'm on this now!!! Dean & I packed up some food and got ready to head off to the LakeHouse for the weekend ~ just before we left, Dean came in the house with the mail ~ oh my goodness...what a beautiful way to start  my weekend ~ I got some sunshine in the mail ~ take a look at this fabulous card that my friend Shel gifted me with ~ thanks SO much Shel, I LOVE this card and absolutely NEED to recreate it!!! It looks like it shaping up to be a beautiful day at the LakeHouse ~ I'm not sure if you can tell that the ice has begun to melt, I wouldn't be walking on that anymore!!!  In fact, when we went for a walk yesterday, with rubber boots of course...well, Dean did go through the ice, but it was only half way up his boot!  So much for our last walk on the ice ~ so to the beach we went!!! I'm so happy that you popped in today ~ I hope I can inspire you while you're here!  This card features some of the beautiful Ornate Garden Suite items ~ I used the fabulous DSP and the Ornate Thanks stamp set ~ the beautiful swirl frame is from the Detailed Bands Dies Read on and find your step by step instructions and you can also create this beautiful card! Card Base ~ Whisper White ~ 8 1/2” x 5 1/2” ~ score at 4 1/4”  Mint Macaron Panel ~ 4” x 1 5/8” ~ cut 3 Gold Foil ~ 4” x 3” Ornate Garden DSP Panels ~ 3 7/8” x 1 1/2” ~ cut 3 Instructions Adhere the Ornate Garden DSP Panels to the Mint Macaron Panels ~ adhere to card base using Tombow or Dimensionals, whatever your personal preference is! Dean & I packed our food for the weekend and headed to the lake ~ Easter Family Dinner wasn't going to happen, so lets get to our other Happy Place. I also packed a few items so that I could get some creativity happening (of course) ~ what a beautiful place to create and find some happy in the middle of isolating ourselves from our family (insert tears).  With this being our first weekend at the LakeHouse, I of course forget to pack some important items ~ let me explain, I packed my Big Shot and was so excited...but wait...no Embossing folders? no Dies?  okay that was good!...but I did pack some ribbon (not SU, but ribbon nonetheless) and I also grabbed some Design Paper!, Timeless Tulips, small box of Stampin' Spots and my Binder with Paper Pumpkin stamps .... Oh my goodness ~ I had such a fun day on Thursday ~ I did my FaceBookLive and had a few friends join me in my studio ~ It was such a quick and easy card that featured the amazing Ornate Garden, well, I used the tiny flower from the stamp set, and I also used the Ornate Garden Border Dies and also the Embossing Folder ~ it was so much fun to create this card and I had such a hard time saying good-bye to my friends ~ thanks so much for popping in today ladies!
