Convention 2013 Was Wonderful!!!

I haven't posted since before I left for Convention...and it was fabulous! What a great experience I had at my first SU Convention!!! Met many wonderful ladies ~ great time of teaching ~ unbelievable ideas ~ and now to implement all that I have learned!

Before we left I was working on some MDS pages for our grandsons...and while we were away, I began another book ~ Utah Bound 2013!  Dean & I road tripped to Utah and had the BEST time ever! We decided to take all the back roads and stay off the Instate all they way there.  What a great idea! We drove through the small towns, met wonderful people and saw the most beautiful sights ever! God's wonderful creation left us speechless so many times! Here are some of the pages that I have created thus far ~ I'm not the most creative when it comes to scrapbooking, I just really enjoy putting it together and allowing the pictures and a bit of journaling tell the story ~ I hope you enjoy my pages!

Technique Tuesday, Adoring Hearts ~ #denisewillerton #stampinchezmoi #stampinupcanada

Hello friends and I want to wish you a Blessed Happy New Year!!!  A year filled with love, hope and peace!!! And I want to welcome you here, to the first Technique Tuesday of the year.  The call for this Technique is using the Brayer!  Oh boy, I haven't used my Brayer in years...so here we go!! Did you see this new Embossing Folder?  It's from the new Adoring Hearts Bundle and wow!!! what a Bundle this is, we have the Stamp Set, Embossing Hybrid Folder, and the Dies, that work with the Embossing Folder.  So whenever you have an Embossing Folder, that is Hybrid, well, that means you Die Cut and Emboss at the same time...Easy Peasy and AMAZING!!! So what I did was, with my Blackberry Bliss Stamp Pad, I inked Brayered the inside of the Embossing Folder, then carefully laid the Die into the Embossing Folder, placed a 6" x 6" piece of Basic White CS, into the folder!  Ran that through my Cut & Emboss Machine and voilà Stampin Dimensionals behind these sweet hearts and
