Mojo Monday & Play Date Café

What a wonderful evening I've had ~ we seem to be running lately and then this fabulously quiet evening was ushered into my presence ~ oh, what to do??? so I ran downstairs into my studio and played! First I hunted for the challenges that I wanted to join, found those and then grabbed my two new dies from MFT that I ordered at Joan's Garden! Oh what a beautiful evening ~ music playing and just a relaxing time of creativity....and I found myself thinking....this is what it feels like, and oh how I'm loving my time!
So here are the two challenges ~ Mojo Monday and I went with the square version!
 and then grabbed the colours from The Play Date Cafe!

Tangerine . . . Apricot . . . Mint

So out came Tangerine Tango, Apricot Appeal & Green Galore...these colours were the closest that I could find to go along with this!
And my card!!!

    Oh my - beautiful card my friend. I'm so glad to see you got your dies from Joans Gardens. I can tell you love them like I do. I love that checkered paper.

Technique Tuesday, Adoring Hearts ~ #denisewillerton #stampinchezmoi #stampinupcanada

Hello friends and I want to wish you a Blessed Happy New Year!!!  A year filled with love, hope and peace!!! And I want to welcome you here, to the first Technique Tuesday of the year.  The call for this Technique is using the Brayer!  Oh boy, I haven't used my Brayer in years...so here we go!! Did you see this new Embossing Folder?  It's from the new Adoring Hearts Bundle and wow!!! what a Bundle this is, we have the Stamp Set, Embossing Hybrid Folder, and the Dies, that work with the Embossing Folder.  So whenever you have an Embossing Folder, that is Hybrid, well, that means you Die Cut and Emboss at the same time...Easy Peasy and AMAZING!!! So what I did was, with my Blackberry Bliss Stamp Pad, I inked Brayered the inside of the Embossing Folder, then carefully laid the Die into the Embossing Folder, placed a 6" x 6" piece of Basic White CS, into the folder!  Ran that through my Cut & Emboss Machine and voilà Stampin Dimensionals behind these sweet hearts and
